I remember when I played COD Mobile and turned off aim assist because I genuinely wanted to aim good. It worked, even proved that mobile fps players can be just as dominant as PC ones. Didn't stop me from burning out on the game and never coming back to it. But that's besides the point. Basically, I agree.

it will ruin the game, PvP is raw skill, not an automation/robots show for casuals sofa gamers even if there's no crossplay. people will just use controller on PC and abuse the aim assist just to get more performances. This is not what PvP should be, it's not have it was back in 2006

even before the update, the console version had some handholding with larger player hitboxes and WAY lower gun recoil compared to keyboard and mouse. personally, I prefer the feel of the game without aim assist just because I got used to it lol

Aim assist is an interesting thing to add at this point The main problem though is that Phantom Forces is just generally unoptimized for a majority of the ACTUAL consoles that people play on in the first place Even the Ps5 struggles at times

Aim assist is very nice for mobile and console players, makes cross platform play more enjoyable. it severely harms your aim with a keyboard and mouse since it throws you off quite a bit. but its a dream to use with a controller. Overall neat feature but definitely needs more playtesting to adjust some parameters and see how it closes the gap between PC and controller users.

The test place actually does that (unofficially of course). That's where I first saw the difference in hitbox sizes when playing on console. Test place doesn't inflate the hitboxes for console players, so you just have to get up to speed on there.

Aim assist is a far better option, the meta for console pf rn is literally to just spam through walls with lmgs because magnetic bullets and ridiculously large hitboxes make that extremely effective

My no recoil setup (unorthodox but let me cook): Saiga-12 DCL-120 Compensator Stubby Grip Ballistics Tracker .223 Rem It feels like a laser pointer after the initial kick of 1 bullet (Technically it’s low recoil rather than No recoil but still pretty good) ALT SETUP for this: DCL-120 Long Barrel Romanian Grip Ballistics Tracker .223 Rem Lots more horizontal recoil, IMO not as good for beaming

honestly this may help with the crazy sweats you can encounter on the console side. they basically act exactly like a pc pro its hard to even hit them once. and im pretty good at tracking people. this is a welcome change in my opinion.

Brotha, I'm rank 232 and ma experience teach me the only way to take down tanks are far distance striking and aggressive played nades, it's the only weapon they are not prepared to fight agaist. I play from a Chromebook, it's all about experience, playing in a cqc or long distance shooting is easy for them who already mastered fast reaction and dodging in the sweatest way possible. but they can't expect a far distance air strike in the face.

Aim assist makes this so much worse for snipers, enemies can lock onto you quickly even if its not very good, i dont think it locks onto the head for snipers, which is fine, my problem is that basically every auto got a buff but snipers (more specifically headshot snipers) are at a disadvantage, casual players like me its way harder, even on console. On mobile its fine, but everywhere else it should be removed

the aim assist looks pretty mild, i mean especially compared to rdr2, rdr2 aim assist definitely gives console the advantage, every time youd ads, it perfectly locks onto a target, even if theyre hidden behind a bush or something, and it tracks them for atleast a bit too. fantom phorces aim assist here looks, like you said, a gentle nudge, it looks alot more mild

i tried aim assist and i didn’t find any real help besides on the hip. u can also change the settings so it doesn’t slow down ur sens which feels a lot better. still tbh i feel like it only helps a little bit and the game might be better without it as the aim feels very smooth.

It's mainly for mobile players. So many people play Roblox on mobile, so letting them play phantom forces is just smart. I know because a while ago Phantom forces had mobile controls in the test plays, it's more for mobile than console. Basically a slowly dying game wants more players so they are opening up to other platforms.
