U dont have to step back many tiles, 1 tile is enough.

How do you get the timing for step back method

hey man, i couldnt get the timing right either but i found a trick, basically whenever the hitsplat thats on you disapears wait like half a second and step back, you can see on the video thats what he does, you might eat the first hit when you start learning but after you wont!
