Had mine for about a week now. I love it !!! I upgraded to a shock-damping seat-post and a better saddle. It does okay on inclines, but not great. I found a 36v lithium battery that's rated 20.A/hrs, to extend the range and I'm hoping it'll help handle hills better too. I'll have to figure out how and where to mount and connect it, since it's much bigger than the original battery. I'd like to wire it "in-parallel", or possibly with a toggle switch or rocker. My main concern is not damaging the controller and burning up the motor. Wish me luck. Cincinnati Ohio USA

Adding a bigger battery capacity won’t help much with its hill climbing capability (unfortunately). It’s akin to adding more gas to a car. It will extend its range though.

I just got mine today actually from Costco. Rode it around a bit in the backyard. Did just fine. Had my 5yr daughter standing while I sat down. Worked okay! Hope to try it more on the street tomorrow if the weather is good.

Right on! I see a fairly wide space in the back where someone could definitely add some beefier motors. Someone else is already looking into adding bigger power packs. I'll have to look into these myself. For now we'll just enjoy it stock and decided when we need an upgrade.

Dang... I missed this. Mike, did you buy one? Do you recommend it still? It's $350 now... I'm on the fence. I want one for just cruising around the neighborhood but not sure if I should spend $350 or just buy a normal bicycle :/

Don't worry, I've seen it on sale recently for the same price. My guess is, there will be another sale. It's good for non-hilly areas as long as you don't weigh 200+ lbs. Wife and I rode on it together as a test (exceeds the recommended weight limit) and it does OK on flat roads. This has no pedals so its a big difference between just cruising or getting some excercise in. I think its a good buy so far. But budget in a battery replacement if you ride a lot as these definitely are not the higher end Samsung/LG cells.

This thing is a fire hazard. The charger gets too hot to hold. The battery build and bms is terrifying. Garbage inr18650s-2500mah cells connected with a single strip of nickel between groups without spacers. These are the bottom of the barrel parts. Even the xiaomi m365 from 2018 had lg m26 cells, smart bms, cell separators, legit 2a charger. The only reason that u cant leave it charged more than 24hrs is that itll overheat and burn ur house down from cheap parts. Its just like having ur cell plugged in, nothing happens

You would have to contact Phantom if you lost your keys. If you still have a set, most hardware stores can make a copy - I use Ace hardware nearby.
