"Bugs Bunny does not eat carrots" is actually a very accurate statement. Because Mel Blanc absolutely detested carrots. As he noted in his autobiography, when Warner Brothers - after much experimentation - determined that nothing remotely sounds like a carrot except a carrot, the procedure was for Mel to chew the carrot, then say the line and immediately spit the carrot out into a wastebasket.

I'll admit, I used to watch Baby Looney Tunes as a little kid, and while it's not Looney Tunes, I still think that it's a nice, relaxing cartoon for very little children, slowly teaching them the basics of life lessons in a very calm way, something that's probably necessary for children that young.

the main problem was that show felt outdated when it came out as the trend of younger versions of cartoon characters(I.E. Muppet Babies, A Pup Named Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry Kids, etc) was long dead by the time it premiered, so it couldn't help but feel like a cash grab.

I watched some episodes of baby looney tunes too because I like the looney tunes in general and thought the babies were adorable, although thanks to phantomstrider I realize it is a little slower and more boring and annoying than I remember. Is it hateful to disabled people that Elmer has a speech impediment? Just giving a black character big lips isn't racist, we do that with white characters all of the time too. PhantomStrider I think one that really need to enter to that list its elmer's candid camera Now it's not technically a bugs bunny cartoon because in that cartoon we see his prototype called "happy rabbit" but in he's third cartoon I heard that he already called bugs bunny. Now let me explain why it's bad. In this cartoon Elmer want to take a wild life pictures so he find bugs(happy) and decided to take a picture of him but tortured by him for no reason. Now in the bugs bunny cartoons it makes scenes because Elmer want to kill bugs bunny and he need to fight for he's life,here he didn't do anything except take a pictures of animals and this is not dangerous but still get tortured by happy for nothing. What I mean that this film is act bad to Elmer for the wrong reason. Even in the end when Elmer lost his mind and fall into the water,happy saves him and after he ask if he feels o.k,he kicks him into the water again And throws at him he's book. Now this my opinion but I also respects your opinion and it's fine because I and you shares both opinions

I actually like the Looney Tunes show episode. Everyone stays in character pretty well, and it makes sense that Daffy would be the one against the idea and Bugs would want to open up to Sam and Sam would take advantage of it and refuse to leave because… he’s Sam. And it’s done in a more funny way then spiteful. Plus there’s a good lesson not to take advantage of others and that sometimes you need to put your foot down and stand up for yourself, even if you have to be harsh. That being said I can get where you’re coming from, I find the whole trope annoying too.

My least favorite episode of The Looney Tunes Show was the one where they went back to treating Daffy like the second banana again, like in older cartoons. Daffy would repeatedly keep getting the short end of the stick, which includes him getting beat up by the same bodyguard, all while everything goes in Bugs' favor. It just felt like the writers were falling back on old traditions. And it felt like a sudden tone shift than what the show was previously offering the audience. What I liked about this show was that Bugs was more vulnerable and capable of losing. But he's modest about winning. While Daffy was allowed to be crazy, sympathetic, or just be Bugs' annoying roommate. I liked the sympathetic scene between Bugs and Daffy in "Back in Action". Daffy finally expresses his opinion on why he dislikes Bugs. And Bugs actually gives a sympathetic look as everyone else sleeps. At the end of the film, Bugs tells Daffy that he'll talk to the Warner Bros and that things will change for Daffy.

The episode is “Casa de Calma” and was actually made for a different show. Before *The Looney Tunes Show* WB was in production on a new looney tunes show called *Laff Riot* which was supposed to be more akin to the classic cartoons with more slapstick, and music tied to action. When this iteration of the show was canceled, most of it’s crew went to work on *The Looney Tunes Show* with 1 original *Laff Riot* episode being finished and repurposed as episode 7.

Given that it's still an early, prototypical version of Bugs that appeared in "Elmer's Pet Rabbit", it's not too surprising it's ridiculously out of character. They were still fleshing out the details of what makes Bugs, well, Bugs! It took several more cartoons to truly get to the point of what we now know and recognize Bugs Bunny to be.

PLEASE, READ THIS: Mel Blanc was fantastic but there are other two legends you need to know: the Brazilians voice actors (both still alibe) Mario Monjardim and Orlando Drummond. Mario voiced Buggs Bunny, Shaggy, Foghorn Leghorn and many others. Orlando is the oldest voice actor alive and still working (98 years old!!) And he voiced Grim, Scooby Doo (he is even in Guiness thanks to that dog), Gargamel, Alf, Archimedes in Sword in the Stone, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and many others. BTW, good choices ;)

One of the worst aspects of the Bugs Bunny Busting Out monstrosity is that Mel Blanc couldn't voice Elmer Fudd to save his life. The original voice actor (Arthur Q. Bryan) died in 1959, and Blanc was a poor replacement. He just couldn't pull his character off.

I wouldn't say his opinion on Ed Edd n' Eddy is "unpopular". Ed Edd n' Eddy is one of those shows where you either like it or you hate it. As for me, I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I remember the first time I saw it at around age 9 (I was kind of late to start watching Cartoon Network) and I did not like it. I don't know why I didn't like it, but it might've been the color scheme. I think I thought the cartoon looked disgusting, and I did not want to look at it, but my brother and sister seemed to love it; I didn't know why! Then after it ended, Almost Naked Animals came on; a cartoon with a far more pleasant looking color scheme, and I liked it! (Nowadays, I am aware that Ed Edd n' Eddy is far better objectively than Almost Naked Animals, and it just goes to show that kids will watch garbage as long as it looks colorful; though confession time, Almost Naked Animals is still kind of a guilty pleasure for me) Not that I couldn't stand Ed Edd n' Eddy, I did occasionally sit through one or two episodes, just because nothing else was on, but they didn't resonate well with me. The show did not entertain me, and as soon as I watched an episode, my brain would just spit it right out. I did learn to recognize one or two characters, and even figured out what "Double D" meant, but that was about it. (I remember watching Ed Edd n' Eddy's Big Picture Show at my grandmother's house, and not being able to pay attention to it at all) On the other hand, however, I was recently inspired to do a huge comics project starring Ed Edd n' Eddy. Now, how can that be? I never liked this show, I barely remember any of it, how can I be starring the main characters in an over-100 page-long graphic novel? Answer: It was inspired by the Ed Edd n' Eddy Purgatory theory. I love cartoons, and they are the main focus of the comic strip I draw, kind of like Drawn Together, but far less controversial. I also find mythical and biblical concepts to be very interesting. And, well, after I heard about that theory, I just found it to be the most fascinating thing ever, despite it having to do with a show I don't care about at all. But actually, being inspired to do this Dante's Inferno-structured graphic novel has made me start to see Ed Edd n' Eddy in a new light. I watched some Ed Edd n' Eddy related videos from cartoon focused KZbin channels so I could do some research, and I can finally see why people like it. I learned that it had a lot of great slapstick, just like Looney Tunes, and I love Looney Tunes, and I learned that the Eds have different personalities, as well as a lot of depth, when I thought all three of them were just one-dimensional idiots. (Breadwinners type idiots, not early Patrick type idiots) I also realized how well I can relate to Double D, being just as much of a neurotic control freak as he is. I've also heard some people compare this show to South Park, and I love South Park. The relationship between the two leads in Looney Tunes: Back in Action was supposed to be forced and awkward, that was the original intent. There was a deleted scene where the main villain would've been eaten by a prehistoric Tweety and after everything goes back to normal, Damian (Frasier) introduces Kate (Elfman) to his dad and remarks that they have no romantic chemistry whatsoever. Nostalgia Critic actually mentioned it in an editorial video a few years ago.

Phantom, to be fair you need to take in account that they were still establishing Bugs as a character since he was officially introduced as "Bugs Bunny" just a year prior. As for your #3 you have to put that one in the context in which the times it created because you can't put a modern context on cartoon that's 80 years old.The same has to be said about Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips because cartoons during the war as Mel Brooks would put it "If you want to take the threat away from something you laugh it." And that's what we did we made our enemies look like complete goofballs not in the best of taste but it was necessary.

The problem I have with "Nips the Nips" is that the stereotypes of Japanese already existed in the western minds before WW2. They were based in european imperialism and western superiority complex when we were taking over asia in the 17 to1800's. My point is is that the stereotypes would have been used to demonize Japanese and other asian ethnic groups even if we weren't at war with them.

My thoughts on each entry 6. I feel like this episode would have benefitted from having a different voice actor for past Bugs Bunny 5. I've seen some of Bugs Bunnies earlier cartoons and those in general are really strange 4. I didn't watch that many episodes of The Looney Tunes, but this one seems very weird. I don't really know what to say about the "Friend stays on over at your house" trope since it inherently seems like an awkward trope, but it has been done right. I did think that Sonic Boom did this trope right because while Eggman is ungrateful and annoying, his evil nature & the fact that this was part of his plan to wear out Sonic & Tails made it worked. 3. I've actually been friends & acquaintances with people who find this funny for it's racist jokes 2. Really don't have a lot to say since I've never seen this one. 1. I watched this show as a kid and actually liked it. Now it just feels really weird. Even with shows & movies that are seen as awkward like Space Jam, Back in Action, Loonatics Unleashed, and The Looney Tunes Show. At least they stayed true to the spirit of Looney Tunes. Baby Looney Tunes just feels like one of those pre-school shows that home schooled kids would tune in to because there is nothing better to watch on television. Surprisingly, I would see this show more often than I would see anything else Looney Tunes related.

I've always noticed a trend with these countdown videos from smaller creators, the first one couple aren't bad just underwhelming or have redeeming qualities/silver lining. #6 is sincere for showing bugs as being older like you said despite the animations throughout the late 70s-mid 80s having to be limited in violence, and #5 just being a early roots cartoon for a character that many had to go through in their first few. But yeah does #4 actually become bad, espically since the series its from is really good. #3 and #2 should be switched to me honestly, because one was poor quality while another is racist and was one of the 11 banned cartoons because of how offensive it was. And for #1, I honestly think it'd be a #4 spot because while the whole show isn't good, it does have the convention of being a nice show for younger audiences to enjoy and the They Might Be Giants AMVs are pretty good as well, meanwhile #4 - #2 each have genuine problems with them in comparision wether its a generic trope episode in a good show, full on racism, and bad production.

I remember watching "All That And Rabbit Stew" when I was a kid, and I didn't get any racist vibes. Now that I'm older, I watched it again and honestly, truly honestly, I don't think the racism is that bad other than the hunter's design. The voice actor for the hunter is HILARIOUS, delivering some of the funniest lines in a Loony Tunes cartoon. Honestly, if the hunter were replaced with say Elmer Fudd, it wouldn't even be controversial, but we'd miss out on what what honestly a humorous foil for Bugs. I believe that if that character were to come back with just a more PC design, he would be really funny.

Honestly, Baby Looney Tunes really brings me back to my childhood and the innocence associated with it. There doesn't need to be over the top adventure or jokes for kids sometimes. Sometimes, they need to see themselves reflected in a cartoon with daily and real situations they'd find themselves in and can relate to. Playing on the swingset, hide and seek, etc. Just little activities like that. I loved that wholesome show because of that reason. I do have a degree of nostalgia for it, but I'd say now as an adult, it doesn't have quite the appeal it did for me back then, but I still think highly of it, and I'd choose the Baby Looney Tunes over the originals, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. P.S. I know you said they're only your opinions, but I felt it right to add that in. I'm not hating, and not arguing with your words. These New Looney Tunes with Bugs and Daffy living together though, are very low in my eyes. It feels like a rehashed 'Odd Couple' in so many ways.

I have no idea why Arthur Q. Bryan didn't voice Elmer in "Prehysterical Hare." He wouldn't pass away until a couple years after that cartoon. Baby Looney Tunes was part of the ridiculous trend we saw in cartoons to present "baby" versions of other shows to attempt to lure in younger viewers, as with Muppet Babies. There were a few attempts to create those kinds of shows, but they were misguided at best.

Sounds like you're talking about "Hare Brush" (1955), where Elmer winds up in a sanitarium because he thinks he's a rabbit and gets Bugs to take his place. The doctors medicate Bugs to the point where he thinks he's Elmer and the cartoon ends up being a Bugs/Elmer role reversal. I didn't like that one either. It's a rare misstep by Friz Freleng, who directed so many great cartoons for Warner Bros.
