When facing a djinn, wish for something really specific, like instead of being able to grant wishes, wish for a light 2cm X 2cm X 0.3 cm coin that whenever it's flipped the wish you were thinking of becomes true irrelevant of which side it lands on or a book certain specifications which makes every wish written on it become true to their holder's interpretation.
