Archeology shows that the City of Troy was destroyed by battle in around 1180 BCE and by earthquake in around 1250 BCE. More likely if the Trojan War did happen in some shorts, it probably be around the 1180 BCE event. One of the traditional dating of the Trojan War, using Classical Era figures that was converted to our own, is 1194-1184 BCE. So, it is within period maybe a decade early or 45 years early if you believe the Trojan Horse was figurative speech for an earthquake due to horses being the animal associated with the Greek God Poseidon and Poseidon was also the god of earthquakes.

Upper and Lower Egypt refer less to elevation and more to how close the Nile was to its source. The Upper Nile was closer to the river's source while Lower Egypt was the Delta region.

Pharaoh: Dynasties, COULD be the game everyone wanted, it still needs some balancing, it could use more features on certain factions, certain minor factions should be actual factions, But the real reason it's could not is, is that a bunch of people are being negative for negativeness sake or refuse to actually read the mechanics then get buttfucked by the game, see Archcast stream where he had no idea how legitimacy or civil war works, and was upset at being bumrushed by everyone around him, Because apparently when the king shows weakness and his vassals jump at his throat that is a bad thing in a historical strategy game. People want medieval 3 and get upset at not getting it The other reason and the unfortunate reality is that Pharaoh launch was a disaster (CA's fault) and it's extremely unlikely to recover from it, it is very likely to be abandoned in the "decent" state it is in now, and never brought up to the "great" it COULD be

Potentially true. However it IS in a state now where modders can take this and run with it. I'm enjoying my time with the game, especially as I learn more of the mechanics and how to play it.

There are some really niche KZbinrs. Like the "old horror PS2 games I never heard of" guy. Hash you have become to me a "reworked video game" KZbinr. It's really cool that you recognise the effort of developers and potential in small games. If only you had done that with Fortnite... Not gonna lie, Warhammer series has ruined historical Total War for me, every historical faction just looks and play the same especially when you compare em to the newest Warhammer factions where everybody got their own UIs and unique campaign mechanics, like Malakais adventures, no other Total War game can compete at that level.

I know it’s hard to mentally process, but it’s be about 300 years too early for Israel. 300 years is longer than the entire existence of the USA. It’s a long time. They could maybe add a single minor faction for them as a dlc but there’s no dlc coming and it’s a hotbed politically so I don’t think that’s coming.
