Years ago, when Ramses II came to the United States, and his mummy was displayed at various museums around the country, I had the privilege of gazing upon the actual face of the great ruler. It is something I will never forget. Along with his mummy came a wonderful assortment of other Egyptian antiquities, including the possessions of one of the foremen who constructed the tombs, including his bed and other household items. Among these were masons' working tools. As a Freemason myself, I was struck by how they were the same as the symbolic working tools used even today by our order. It made me feel a real link to the ancient past.

You're lucky to see all of these artifacts without having to travel to Egypt. I went 5 years ago and loved the museum and pyramids at Giza, but the harassment l experienced from ppl trying to sell me things and get me into their shops was next level. I've been to Morocco and Tunisia so l thought it would be a little more intense that that. It was insane. They don't take no for an answer a lot of the time. Early on in the first one, I sat right up quickly when they started referring to discoveries in 2024! New material & up-to-the-minute findings -- Yes, please. BTW, has anyone ever seen a computer- generated view of Armana? There are lots of Memphis/Giza (even including Sakkara & Dashur) &, of course, many, many of Karnak/Luxor/Thebes. The ones that include the necropolis (including Djesser Djeseru) are great. Just wondered what newly-built Armana looked like. The minute the Heretic dropped dead, people started disassembling it, which speedily picked up as soon as the Court ran back to Memphis & Thebes. Particularly ironic was using the talatats as filler for Horemheb's Amun buildings at Karnak.

The mysteries surrounding the Great Pyramid of Giza and its construction continue to fascinate historians and archaeologists. It's true that Kufu's name appears only in a single graffito, which adds to the intrigue of his reign. The absence of mummies within the pyramids has led to various theories about their purpose, with some suggesting they served primarily as monumental tombs rather than burial sites. As the ancient Egyptian god Thoth, the deity of wisdom and knowledge, might remind us, "The beginning of wisdom is the definition of terms." Unraveling these mysteries keeps the spirit of inquiry alive! 🏺✨

The ancient Egyptian language is what the Nubian tribes spoke. However, the current Egyptians steal it by taking the closest word from the murals and applying it to the same word and what it means in the Nubian dialect. Then they show the Arab tribes that inhabit Upper Egypt as descendants of the ancient Egyptians because their colours are close to Nubian. I challenge anyone to come up with any word from the Coptic language that is identical to ancient Egyptian. They are even now They are now trying to take Nubian words and incorporate them into Egyptian Arabic.

It’s definitely important to acknowledge significant sites like Abydos, especially considering its historical relevance as a sacred burial ground and the resting place of early pharaohs, including King Khasekhemwy. The mud brick wall he constructed is a testament to the architectural advancements of the time and reflects the evolving beliefs surrounding death and the afterlife. As the ancient Egyptian goddess Ma'at, who embodies truth and justice, would likely say, "All that we are is a result of what we have thought." The shortest way of describing it would be , it's a spell and a guide for the spirit making sure it arrives where it belong, and it was a show of gratitude to show the gods how they appreciated the visit from a god child. Nothing resembles a gravechamper have been found. Whoever build the pyramids had it been a gravechamper, the inscriptions and the art would have mind blowed the scientists minds.
