3:34 The first time I heard Tokyo drift was during the premiere of fast and the furious. And at that point I literally had an Ipod with nothing but the entire production discography on it (literally in my pocket). And as soon as the four-count started the cars came drifting in with neon lights, the crowd went nuts and I went nuts because I realized the beat was actually produced by the Neptunes. 🔥🔥🔥 The good old days as a die hard neptunes fan.

Honorable Mention for "Skeletons" by Travis Scott. It's technically produced by Travis and Kevin Parker and the quick four-count start isn't until 24 seconds in. The song features Pharrell but that four-count is time he's heard singularly on the entire track.

That originally was the point of the count. Like a metronome so the artist knows how to flow with the beat. He said he ended up leaving the 4 count in the songs by accident, so they kinda became his thing over time.

A lot of these if not all had Chad Hugo on just as much or more than Pharrell. He never gets the credit from people. It's The Neptunes. Not just Pharrell.

He has by far the best producer tag because it’s unique as hell and it’s not annoying. Most other producers love shoving their involvement in your face, but not Pharrell.

Yeah I was considering putting APESHIT in but I decided not to just because it would have been kind of weird to animate that. And yeah I think it’s awesome that EL-P payed homage to Pharrell with that beat! I mean even the style of the beat is paying homage to him it’s perfect. Had no idea it wasn’t Pharrell who produced it until I looked it up.
