@rafd9710 жыл бұрын
What's wrong with you people?! Are you all deaf or something? He simply said he doesn't agree with countries where women are almost slaves for men, and that women should be able to do whatever the fuck they want with their bodies. AND THAT INCLUDES DOING A SEMI-NUDE VIDEO. Talking about blurred lines like it was exactly the opposite he told Ellen is bullshit. You just turned his words into words of a contradictory feminist, and he's not.
@kimberly345210 жыл бұрын
Rafael Diniz Nicely said :)
@xeqpuis10 жыл бұрын
Rafael Diniz I understand where you are going, but on behalf of the 118 people that liked my comment I say: Women are welcome to do what ever they want with their bodies, but the "blurred line" video (because it's entertainment) represents all women, not only the ones that did it. What happens in the video, represents what the media constantly does, place women as a sex figure and men as the "viewer." The fact he agrees to make that video, says that he didn't understood how it would be represented or the he ignored it. The video puts women under men, because the opposite video (men naked) would have been taken differently. So he participated in acts of inequality. Which he says in this interview, he is against.
@kimberly345210 жыл бұрын
realjaypea Also, nicely said :D
@rafd9710 жыл бұрын
realjaypea Yeah, and what if i tell you "Blurred lines" is kind of a parody of all of those other pop song videos? Okay, there are semi-nude women in this video, but they're dancing in a way that is anything but sexy. Another thing implying that this is parody, is that big panel saying: "Robin thicke has big cock". Among other things. Opinions btw... :P

The song got this stupid stupid reputation from two lines "I know you want it" "Let me liberate ya" You seriously gonna buy into the bullshit a few social media queens created from England? The Song was written by Robin Thicke, Pharrel, T.I. ... Robin has quoted lines out of the song that had his direct hand in it and explained in detail how they where about his Wife.. Paula Patton.. Pharrel before the song was even released said he was working on a song inspired by Miley Cyrus and the that girl in the club that everyone is trying to get the attention of. We could take lines and phrases out of nearly any song and make them have negative connotations ... It is the very definition of taking something out of context.... But hey if some British Social Media queens say it is "Rapey" why wouldn't it be? despite all common sense.

He should be a politician, not a musician. I'm sorry, I know many of the people who watch this video will disagree with me, but it's the truth. Back in the day, music wasn't all about a good beat, it was art, it could take you to another dimension and make you feel things you've never felt before, without the need of drugs or any other substance. People don't realize that a good artist doesn't make catchy songs, he's supposed to be innovative and unique. When was the last time you heard someone was called a genius? When was the last time you actually saw a musician talks about music in an interview, and not about fashion, relationships,politics, etc? The facts are there aren't any real young artists, and if there are, they sure aren't in the mainstream music.
@LauravanKessel10 жыл бұрын
You make so little sense, I can't even tell if this is a compliment or an insult?
@MisterSmith68410 жыл бұрын
Neither. Im trying to say that he's very intelligent, but just not a musician. But I didn't excpect anyone who watches this to understand, so it's my bad.
@Kareragirl10 жыл бұрын
The main problem is that music nowadays is often manufactured. It's not as personal and "hand-made" as it used to be. However, I do think there are still real artists around. They're mostly not that famous, though, so don't bother looking for them in mainstream music. The more elaborate art (or a subject in general) is, the less accessible it is to the general public. Same with literature, graphic arts, etc. Books like "PS, I Love You" are sold in millions, because they are easy to understand and you won't have to use your brain much to comprehend the general scheme of things (no wonder - the author was in her early twenties when she wrote the book. She hadn't even lived yet.), but if you look at one of today's great writers like Mo Yan, you'll see how little his work has been disseminated in comparison. Come to think of it, maybe that's also due to his not being from a Western country? ... I maintain that it's mainly because of the sophistication of his work! ;) Please correct me if I made any mistakes.
@MisterSmith68410 жыл бұрын
Kareragirl I agree with you, there are many great artists out there, that aren't in the mainstream, and I really enjoy listening to some of their music. It just seems like people don't care about real emotion or art, and maybe in 10 or 20 years, there aren't gonna be any real artists, mainstream or not.
