What a marvelous show! I really love how they pick the brains of artists from all sorts of media. The naked female is also a nice touch. I wonder how a female guest would react to that.

I'm so glad episode 3 arrived. This episode reveals that there isn't an idea out there that isn't too insane, because that the 2nd artist with the glasses has an artist mind, but some really weird ideas for artistry. Oscar Wilde once said, though, "An idea that isn't dangerous isn't worthy of being called an idea at all." So every idea especially if risky is worth the risk in the end.

I fast forward to the lady ... It's their reactions that tell the most interesting story ... And just like there are no explanatory videos where Pharrell explains why neither do many artists explain their art and yet he asks his guest artists to explain their philosophical core ideas behind their work while leaving the serving woman subject mute .. Intriguing choice of interview choices and decisions...is this the height of implicit and complicit chauvinism and misogyny ... Or is it ... Contemporary art? Well ... It gathers the same reactions as any gallery!!!

I think the female body is a beautiful structure and something that shouldn't be hidden from the human eye but I also think that a little concealment is also good for the imagination plus sex appeal. The idea to have a beautiful woman bring water was brilliant because the human attention span is really short and to have eye candy or something to add excitement is brilliant. It would have been nice to have her wear something fashionable since it is a show about art after all and fashion in its own right is art. I love the show btw, really inspirational and educational.

Pharrell: Why do you interview almost only male artists? I've seen only one female artist at the end of the interview with Usher. Does one has to be a young-quiet-naked-and-beautiful-bodied girl to be able to appear in your show? So sad

Pharrell has proven himself an excellent interviewer who challenges the guests as opposed to gratuitous ass-kissing & jock-jerking. He looks each of the subjects in the eye when they answer listening intently (while sneaking a look at his next question). He keeps it light the pace is progressive; the producers are doing a good collaborative job. Pharrell's haters are going to need to find other stuff to try to diss him...

i'm a fan of pharell and i agree with your comment in general but i feel he's not knowledgeable enough at times, even watching him and tony hawks there was times when he had a look of listening and not following but 10/10 for effort all round
