There is a way to keep the truck idling when its not over 80..... you know those heat pads? Put one on the outside where the thermometer is and the truck will read temperatures over 100 and there you go. Look under the driver side mirror for a hole. Put the pad there.

If your driving on only 3 hours of sleep, you should not be driving. You need at least 8 hours of sleep. If your company has a problem with that you should not work there.

Go to flying J and buy one of those double fans that you can clip one to things. That plugs into the cigarette lighter make sure you get a fuse tester and a bunch of fuses cause your fuses will go out eventually. That’s the best way you can stay cool and keep that curtain closed at all times

i got my class b with air brakes, school bus, and passenger endorsement would i have to retake all 3 written test if i want to upgrade to A? or would they allowed me just take the combination endorsement to upgrade since i got all of the other written exams .

School is “free” if you work for cr england for 12 months. If you’re a veteran it’s 9months. I say “free” but they still charge like $38 a week the first year

CR England I made 70,000 my first year, my second year I was making $1100-1400 weekly before I left. It’s all about getting with a good partner and don’t be sitting, sitting is a waste of time

@@ElGaby323 yes, I would never do solo solo was a waste of money. A lot of the times I will call the shipper or the receiver and see if they can take the load early. If they can I contact my driver manager. And let her know so they can start looking for a new load for me.

You mentioned you’re doin MOST driving versus your teammate. How does he keep his income up that way? You guys split mileage so it don’t matter who’s driving or ? How many people shared a room at the training facility during CDL school?

My bad I didn’t clarify. During the phase 1 you’re with your trainer. During this time the trainer wants you to drive the most so you can complete your required 100+hours on the road. When I attended it was beginning of Covid so hotel wise I had the hotel all to myself. The classroom had about 20-25 people but out on the yard for skills easily over 50 people

That could depend on your training because for me we’re back at Rialto almost everyday so I can technically go home but I live an hour away so I just stay in truck. When we have 34 hour reset then I do go home. But in the case I’m in right now with new trainer I am in my off day but stuck in Arizona lol

Of course we’re nervours the first day or 2 but the trainers understand that it’s best for both of you if you each get along so most of the time the trainers would be really nice to you.thankfully the 3 trainers I had have good hygiene lol

They have you do the pretrip every day at first and you’ll notice other students will work together finding ways to get it down and that’s what helps more.

The first few days are the worst because you’re getting used to it but they highly encourage you to pull over and take a nap so you never drive fatigued. I use sunflower seeds! Surprisingly that keeps me awake and doesn’t make me fat if I’m constantly snacking on them lol

Hey! They have several positions you could apply for on the England app and it tells you how much you can expect to make what is needed and more info. I believed they do have day cab routes for California

About 2nd week. But before you get your permit. It’s a pee test but some people will also need a hair sample test (it’s random)

Ive heard nothing but Horror stories about cr England including them putting 3 drivers in a single truck ? there the lowest paid and run teams only.
