This is the phase 6 best in slot gear guide for shadow priests in classic wow. This is where the game really starts imo and I am super excited to be able to raid naxx as a shadow priest again. Andrew Kelley I had one chance to get them but it was on thanksgiving last year and I was at my parents house. My guild secured the kill and they dropped and went to a shadow priest that doesn’t even play anymore:(

Yo Drue! Been waiting for this video to drop so I could give you an update. I commented back when you released the AQ40 phase 5 Spriest BiS video about how I needed a team and such. Since then, I've gotten a team that'd have me as a Spriest for both AQ40 and now Naxx! We began Naxx last week, and the run today I got both End of Dreams and the Spriest chest from Maexxna! Also, I joined one of our server's World Boss coalitions and grinded scouting hours on World Bosses for more than 200 hours and it paid off! I got the most points at one point and ended up being prio for Felinfused Leggins when they dropped so I got them! Now I am just waiting for Snowblind Shoes :D

DefinitelyNot Blitzcrank grats dude that’s seriously awesome. And kudos to your guild for not being sweaty and not bringing an spriests. Huge grats for your FIL that’s seriously the holy grail of spriests pieces and probably one of your best overall pieces. If it makes you feel any better, boots of epiphany are actually probably a little bit better at this point in the game than snowblind shoes. Epiphany gives 2 more damage and you only lose like 4 mp5 from not wearing the shoes. Now that we have all this new gear with a lot more int, you can start stacking spell power and stray away from mp5 pieces. Not saying snowblind shoes aren’t amazing still, but since they are still pretty hard to get, epiphany might just be the choice now.

I would like to see a Phase 6 PVP bis video like this. I'd also love to see some PVP and even a Naxx run with some commentary. I dig all your videos it literally helped me make my classic experience so much better. I hope you continue to post even into TBC!!

Hey drue, I am hyped to hear you have more time to make videos soon! I burnt out halfway through naxx and am solely fixated on the upcoming arena PvP. I have scoured youtube for shadow priest arena prep but only find videos on the gameplay of the class or just general tbc prep. I hear casters want to have tailoring ready for certain gear but also hear our bis is in the arena gear. Confused on what to do with my time to be ready for the golden age of PvP. Also you are still a real one for helping me plan gear during that av meta im surprised u werent afk XD

Hey, amazing video - really enjoyed that. I have been struggling to get hit items myself and a good option you haven't mentioned is the Brimstone Staff from Loatheb, which has massive 2% hit and 1% crit on it. Of course, it is 13 SP less than EoD + ToSF but if you are starved for hit as I am (no tear, no c'thun ring, no hit bracers) can be really helpful with itemization around it til more hits become available as the KT one would be hard to get considering most people are 12/15 or 13/15 or less. Thanks bro great video.I will prefer to use Sapphiron's Left Eye as off-hand so I can replace rockfury with burrower braces. Totally lost 1SP but will gain 1 crit and 7 int.

Xin Lin left eye is great but technically not bis and really hard to get cause all the mages and locks want it with their wraith blade. Only reason I didn’t even mention it. If you are in a position to get it, go for it. It’s a great piece

Great video once more! I cannot wait to rock the witch/wizard outfit look and RP around Org. Remember the days of skinny jeans BV outfit look? As well the content in Naxx is the real prize I have been waiting for, and experiencing it as a Spriest should be a treat. I am still rocking R10 Gloves/Shoulders after a year, and no Nelth Tear.... still have some more BWL to do. Best of luck heading into Naxx and congrats once more on finishing school.

if you are shadow priest who don't have nelfs tear, i would also look into brimstone staff. No need to take off 51 dmg hat for hit

I know that before classic even launched he was doing a bunch of stuff for his masters degree and was a TA and things like that so I have to just assume it’s something related to that. I wish him the best and hope he comes back one day though.

In terms of raw damage output for the majority of fights, 2.33% crit (once you factor in +20 int) from Soulseeker is definitely worth more than 3 spell power once you're in Naxx gear; even for a Shadow Priest. The only real debate is with the ease of obtaining the items.

Hawken Valhalla exactly. I personally will be just going for eod and if I’m lucky enough to get a soul seeker then that’s awesome.

I think you're better off having the Preceptors Hat in the realistic bis and swapping the dragonslayers orb for the bag of whammies. Preceptors hat will pretty much go to spriests uncontested, and you'd end up with an extra 13 spell damage.

What do you think about using Atiesh ocer an MH/OH build? With the aura it comes out so much further ahead in spell power but you do lose out on some crit/int or the magic pen.

Probably off the list due to needing the hit from losing your helm hit piece in naxx. burrower bracers are also great for pvp but for pve I think rockfury is best, however if you are currently capped you could use burrower for 1+ sp and int

Also, its worth having the hit on bracers because other gear slot upgrades give way more +sp than you get going to ouros without the hit. But i am with you and said fuck that quest, and will probably go to Ouro's eventually if i get new hit ring in Naxx

the natural spell hit cap for casters is 16% the talent called shadow focus gives shadow priests 10% hit. so you only need 6% from gear. both gear sets i posted have 6% hit. anything else is over kill.

I'm glad my guild has no priest, already got an ele shaman crying that it's not fair if it goes to a feral... but druids have 3 weapons in whole game with feral atk power

@@druem first off no it's not it's a weapon that has a fast atk speed and no atk power, when you actually do the math you see they are wrong but you have to do all the math yes haste is good but it's not god... if that was the case warriors would use it too as weapon damage accounts for .5% of warrior dps

@@druem damage for melee is calculated the following way (weapon dmg+atk power)/3.5 and feral has a straight dmg +28% modifier to their shred and rip(if they ever get to use it(which is a better modifier than your mindblast) 15% to shred when you do all the math it's actually better for feral atk power with power shifting just players are lazy
