It's doing it for me! Just wondering what the price is going to be - and how much it will be to have my Rodenstocks on a Cambo mount swapped to the XT mount. Suspect a small mortgage is in the offing.

Sorry... dumb questions... does it have a leaf shutter... does it have focus peaking?

No such thing as a dumb question! The new Phase One X-Shutter is an electro-magnetic leaf shutter system controlled by the IQ4 digital back (Which has focus peaking).

@@CaptureIntegrationvideos Thank you for your quick response... a very appealing system for those like me who like to work slowly and carefully... just out of curiosity I noticed a lot of pins on the lens mount... will this allow for the development of autofocus lenses and thus become a far more versatile alternative to other mirrorless medium format options...

@@noahwood8411 As of right now these pins are how the lens communicates with the digital back. It sends the firing signals to the shutter system, as well as transmits data on camera X/Y shift (along with additional lens metadata). At this time we are not aware of any autofocus capabilities coming in the immediate future, however all of this can change very quickly. Stay tuned, as soon as we know something we will share it with everyone we can!

@@CaptureIntegrationvideos Exciting times....

@@CaptureIntegrationvideos After pondering this system for a day I have been becoming more and more intrigued by its possibilities and possible for potential accessories... I am both a studio shooter and a landscape shooter... and I am seriously considering jumping into this system with the achromatic back... I am pretty sure you don't build things at the request of customers... but it is worth a shot... any chance you could make an adapter that would allow the use of xf lenses with the xt body... as a bonus this adapter should have the built in profoto trigger... or a hot shoe to allow for easy use of an external trigger... essentially turning this into the ultimate choice for either studio or field work... this would then become the perfect camera investment for me... any chance ;-)

yes, you are making a compromise, the PRICE, you are looking at the price of a luxury car, aka $30,000 Australian- $60,000 depending what you are getting, aka back, camera, lenses, so can be a lot more, and this doesn't include computer and monitor upgrades, as the quality is soo high, and the files soo large.
