This is a beautiful explanation, gonna be referring everyone who's new to this. For what it's worth, the Sync wavetable you made is actually effectively in the factory library, it's called saw to triangle to saw. The phase is offset but it's effectively doing the same thing. Not a huge deal just nice for people who wanna be lazy and not download it. Really like the window shape wt btw, was way different to my approach

One of the most important hacks for any of these is to try to set your modulation to a macro. Why? Because if you have everything mapped to the macro you can then use an lfo,random, etc to mod the macro. If you want to change the source you don’t have to redo all your destinations. It’ll save you a ton of time. You can also map macros to the mix of snap heap and multi pass for effect racks that you took the time to build. If you have the suite, try to work all your effects in either multi pass or snap heap so you can throw them on new patches and have the ecosystem work for you.

Thank you so much VR! This is a great tutorial. I have been sitting on Phaseplant for such a long time, as it has been a bit out of my comfort level. My goto drop in Synths are Serum, Vital, Deva, and now sometimes Pigments (thanks Jon Audio for showing me the way). I also watched all of his videos on Avenger 2 and I am still scared. LOL. I think I have a good handle on Phaseplant now and I have all the extra parts - Slice EQ, Multipass, Snap Heap, etc. I also have a good fleet of presets, but I like building my own stuff and trying to reverse engineer presets has been daunting in this Synth. Now I feel like I can easily build some things from scratch - which I prefer to do. Thank you!

Just when I thought I knew PhasePlant relatively well... I found out I don't know that much bout basic synthesis concepts. Regardless, just two quality of life things I wanted to add, you can right click on a modulation(either source or destination) which opens a context menu to see the exact values, it also allows you to quickly remove connections then and there. The other one is holding "Alt"(or "Option" for Mac I think) while hovering between any two items(by that I mean either oscillators/outputs or the stuff in the FX section), that way you don't need to "aim" in order to add something new between pre-existing items. Other than that, amazing tut and offering. I'll proceed to touch my pp now.
