Phased Array Weld Inspection

This video demonstrates a basic Phased Array weld inspection. The test specimen used is a mild steel plate 0.600” thick 30 degree V-groove with lack of side wall fusion. In the video I stated the through wall size of the defect is 1.5”, the through wall is only 0.150”.
Equipment: Olympus OMNISCAN SX UT tester, Olympus 5L32-A11 Transducer 5MHZ 32Element and Olympus SA11-N55S wedge.

I have trouble getting the proper amplitude coloration in my S scan view. I think it's just because I haven't done PA very much yet and dont have the feel for it.. I was wondering if you had any tips to help with that?
