If you're using modern JS you should probably be running some kind of bundler and import Phaser to the index etc.

Hi! This was a really great starter! Thank you for the effort you put into it. ^_^ Do you plan on releasing a second half to show the combat and resource gathering? I'm guessing from there, it's as simple as checking to see if the other objects collide with the outside collider, then calling functions based on that, but would love to see if my implementation would differ from yours!

@@MalarkeyMan try to remove the matter collision plugin, because its implemented in phaser since a few months or years, so you dont have to manually add or configure it

Im all for more game engines and frameworks 100%. But all these frameworks just feel like they add so much extra work, correct me if im wrong. Im just curious why people choose frameworks like this over Godot f.ex :)

Its about learning, and also about doing everything from scratch . as u have more control over things , u have the option to code in vanilla javascript whenever u need . game engines like unity ,unreal dont have that feature ,u r bound to their libraries.but i heard from someone cryengine offers u to code in raw c++ .

Also u mentioned godot and its an open source , so people can actually edit godot source code according to their needs . yes u have a point . but still not everyone has this ability.

check description, its so they can sell you a course. Feels weird that they dont just say "hey this is the preview of our coding course". Kinda sneaky, such a shame, the code is very good,. Moving entities to classes etc.

Even worse. They make you think the 2nd part is free. However if you give them your email for the "free course" you'll see that the free one is crap and the follow up to this is payed. Thanks Mozilla for Firefox Relay so I don't have to give my real Email to people like this.
