I can tell this will be my favourite series! I'm wanting to try new species of leaf/ stick insect each year and it'll be fascinating to see all the information on them in your videos :)

Great video! Super tempted to give these cute little guys a go. I adore my T's but it's so nice to see phasmids given some love too, they're such fascinating animals.

They truly are! Give me a few months and I 'should be' able to get hold of some much rarer species 😉

I have never seen these stick insects, I would pass them thinking it was part of a bush! We did have a part of a bush that we left alone , and a patch of grass near a fence! I had to home school my youngest and we did lots of outside work, even now he loves looking for insects, sadly we had to leave our nice house, Harry still looks at bugs with a huge smile when he finds any! I show him lots of your videos, he loves them! 👏

Hi great video, just wondering if you have any idea why one of mine is deciding to sit on the floor of the enclosure a lot lately. I just have kitchen paper as a base so thinking I may need some soil or sand but a bit confused about to clean them out? Do you have a video for this. Thanks
@OldChannelBugRealms4 жыл бұрын
I would either swap out for soil or alternatively place a pot of damp substrate inside. Also a hiding spot somewhere. It might be after more moisture or it might be trying hide or lay. Let me know how it goes

@@OldChannelBugRealms Hi thanks for this I am planning to move to a better enclosure and thinking of using Exo Terra rain forest substrate ( its a bark and moss mixture) do you think this is ok for a base? Second until I get the new produce what soil/ sand can I use in a pot, usual compost? Many thanks for your help.
