My friends know I have three rules: 1) I don't fuck with revenants (No side objectives or going back in for me when we know that it's a Rev) 2) If it's not freezing temperatures, the fuse box gets turned off immediately. (If it is, Fuse box stays ON) 3) If you've got Freezing and your sanity is plummeting, move the cameras and book, it's a fuckin' Yurei and we're proving it- The third rule stems from us getting an INSANE number of Yureis, there was a time when we got four of the lil' buggers in the same gaming session.

I just kind of thought of this, but something I'd really love to see them add in is say for example the ghost is a type that doesn't show orbs on the video camera...there could instead be a chance for it to spawn extremely close to the camera suddenly as a bit of a jump scare. And also act as something of a confirmation that orbs aren't an option. Because honestly there have been times where I just couldn't confirm the last piece of evidence and I was 99% sure it was ghost orbs, but just couldn't see any. Took a guess and was wrong. That jumpscare would've got me, but also would've saved me a bunch of time of starring at video feedback.

You are definitely not alone with that. I couldn´t bring myself to follow the Dia-Show. I just guessed and left. But - we took the challenge to learn it more or less by ourselves. We still get spooked to this day, sometimes. But we´re getting better :) So chin-up - its not a bad thing you´re a bit jumpy. Even dear Nuzz admitted he gets spooked or was jumpy at the beginning =)

It gets so much better once you know where to run! You can use the five minutes where you are safe in amateur to get a good look at the maps. Having an escape plan really helps!

not all of them actually :O the guy at the start of a contract tells you IMPORTANT information about the ghost. lemme type it up: ghost sighting = the ghost will appear a lot. light switching = the ghost is one that messes with the lights or breaker. reports of violence = the ghost will hunt a LOT once your sanity is below 60%. any ghost can hunt when sanity is below 60% but the 2 that rarely hunt are Poltergeist and Shade. people left in a hurry = the ghost is unfriendly. evidence will be hard to get. no information or he has nothing to report = you have no idea if the ghost is friendly, unfriendly or violent. basically you're going in blind.

i had a solo professional game with a mare, i called this mare steven clark the nice cause steven clark is his name, and the fact that he gave me an incredibly easy time, not only did he turn on the lights (which made me surprised he was a mare at all), but he also gave me dirty water and didn't jumpscare me once, the evidence was also very easy to find
