Just did this install. I have big hands so it made it hard to reach beside the trans with a tool to push the spring clips in to remove the pins that hold the housing to the trans. I had someone inside reach through from the inside with a long flathed screwdriver as i pulled the pins out with one hand from undetneath. Hope this helps anyone having trouble. I wished i would have made this mod when i first got my car.

I just had mine installed. Love it but I’m not sure if the amount of play it has while shifting gears in intentional. There is no video of others spying how the shifter moves after install so I don’t know.

Just FYI, the roll pin in the shift tower can come out and bend or break. I put a piece of safety wire through the middle of it to hold it in position.

Installation will be very similar on the V6. The 2.0 we are not 100% for sure on.

A job like this can take about 4-6 hours depending on your skill set. Also a lift kinda makes things a bit easier.

Phastek Performance random question not related to this but my shifter is loose. what should I do? how much would a replacement cost?

@@Slowbhen With the shifter being loose, it just depends on why it is that way. There could be a few different things going on, or it could just be worn out. As for a replacement, it just depends on which route you go. Shifters can range from $250 to $400 depending on the model fitment, then you will have the labor cost on top of that from the shop that installs the kit.
