ละครรำผู้แสดงชายล้วน เรื่อง "พระนาละ" บทพระราชนิพนธ์ในรัชกาลที่ ๖ แสดงโดยอาจารย์และนักศึกษาสถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนศิลป์ ในรายการสังคีตสราญรมย์ โดยศูนย์สังคีตศิลป์ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ ประจำวันที่ ๕ พ.ค. ๒๕๖๑ ซึ่งจัดเพื่อเชิดชูเกียรติ รศ.ดร.ศุภชัย จันทร์สุวรรณ์ ศิลปินแห่งชาติ
In this scene from the dance drama "Phra Nala" (written by King Vajiravudh based on the story of Nala and Damayanti in the Mahabharata), royals from near and far are invited to Damayanti's mate-choosing ceremony. The featured music and dances are from the "Language Suite" created by Thai composers and choreographers based on the music and dance traditions of various peoples including, as shown in this scene, the Lao (which in Thai classical theater parlance include the people of Lanna or present-day northern Thailand), Vietnamese, Khmer, Burmese, Chinese and Europeans.
This all-male performance was part of a show honoring Prof. Supachai Chansuwan, National Artist of Thailand, May 5, 2018 at Kukrit Institute, Bangkok.
