That's a really good point about levels. Next to nobody goes that high, yet most creators make builds for those levels, which in turn makes perfectly usable frames and weapons sound bad because they drop off at level 500 etc.

Funnily enough I made that point in a video on a weapon that can scale that high with a different setup using fanged fusilade but yea still. Barely any does that and there's no rewards for doing it, so I'm not gonna make a build that is meant purely for that because the people doing that make their own builds 😭

You can use a crit build on the Laetum because pistols have enough multi-shot to make it possible for some of them, even in a crit build, to not crit and provide you the dmg buff that, unlike the Phenmor's one, affects crits.

Simple cheap build keep in mind if anyone wanted to go a extra 10 miles they can get a -crit chance riven that has +MS and +damage and any other raw damage stat like heat

Corrosive oneshots stuff, sure. But so does a viral Phenmor. The difference is not noticable in base SP. I mostly just use my viral setup so I don't have to switch configs when I do disruption missions.

well it adds a bit of status so you can kill with dot and viral is nice but you can probably just use the 90 mods for more damage

bro I was messing around with this and was so confused as to why it didn't feel that strong and I couldnt figure it out for the life of me and then I realized what it was i had my damn cat on and it was giving me a 60% crit chance buff so I was critting like half the time and doing nowhere near the damage I should've been lol.

Generally if building for slash on the phenmor you want to out source your viral to a primer as both of them dilute eachother to much on the same gun

@@kyaii so the main reason it's not a problem on your build is because corrosive and fire are both good as dmg type but viral is only good for it's status so we would loose too much dmg when fighting greener? Only recently I've heard someone mention dilution shortly, but no one talks about it in any guides, perhaps it's too obvious and I'm too dumb to have never thought about it. The Incarnon weapons are all MR14 so you have a bit of time to grind the mods :)

No. The viral status is purely used on weapons that put out the slash status effect. Viral only increases damage to health and if enemies have armor (almost all enemies on the steel path) then it does nothing. Slash ignores armor which is why viral/slash is very common. Corrosive is actually useful against armor and even though the Phenmor puts out alot of slash.. it already does so much damage that the slash based builds are only needed at level 1k plus. Hope this helped!

Raw damage is better for Phenmor at these levels. Viral is only good paired with slash and even though this weapon does alot of slash its unnecessary until lvl 1k. Corrosive will kill MUCH quicker at these base steel path levels.

I don't see how this is a bad build at all, headshots can be tricky to play for if you have a hard time with wf's heavy visual noise, but it does the damage you need for steel

This build is good for the Phenmor. I personally prefer to use the 60/60 mods for more status but Phenmor doesn't really need it with its firerate. Shred isn't necessary with Incarnon mode's innate punch-thru but I use that too for more firerate. The Phenmor's Evolution 5 perk that he is using here (can't remember what "..." Attrition it is lol) is so strong that the gun barely needs mods. This gun more than others has so much room for more firerate. More firerate adds so much DPS, and getting Incarnon charge is never a problem. It has also has no ammo problems because of Incarnon mode's special magazine. Really its only downside is its long reload when not in Incarnon form. Finally the Slash build on this gun that makes use of Fanged Fusillade (which you didn't mention but I'm gonna politely assume you meant it as it's really one of the only other ways to abuse this gun) to make the slash weighting better is so strong it's basically unecessary until around level 1000 or higher, which is the point where it starts to have better TTK than a raw dmg corrosive build.

I'm aware the slash build is possible and I considered showing that off but I stated in the video that there isn't any rewarding content in the game that goes that high and never will. The raw slash requires priming and other stuff. The raw damage corrosive build is what I demonstrated because most people will probably stay for at most 2 hours in a Steel Path survival and this will do wonders for them.
