My Phenom X6 1090t has been working since 2011. 12 years in use. I still play Street Fighter 5 on it. I use it practically every day for work and browsing. It's an awesome CPU.

@@fendyliu8315 Right now I'm using a GTX 1650, and it's working great with the Phenom X6. But previously I had a GTX 660. I used the GTX 660 for about 6 ~ 7 years, but it had problems.

I had this cpu 12 years. I had over 6000 hrs on dota 2 and 3000 hrs on CSS and CSGO.

O! Właśnie się zastanawiałem jak mój ulubiony stary procesor radzi sobie z grami w 2022 roku. I naprawdę jest nieźle! Wiadomo, że bottleneck dla gpu konkretny, ale i tak jestem pod wrażeniem. Po tym procku od amd przesiadłem się na intela i 4790k, a teraz znowu powrót do matecznika- ryzen 7 5800x3d. Niech posłuży mi tak długo jak stary dobry phenom 2 ^^ Dzięki za film!

depends on game but max 1050ti imo and since its lack of SSE4.2 instructions many games will not work

Solo entré para ver el cuello de botella, y no me equivoqué, un uso de menos del 20% con el cpu todo el rato a más del 90%... Si no quieren cuello de botella, ponganle una gtx 760 a lo maximo, la uso como pc secundaria e incluso así hay veces que el procesador topa el 80%

Deberías probar en equivalencia con un Gpu amd ya que los Gpu´s de AMD son menos dependientes del Cpu y dan mas performance que las gpu de nvida de su misma liga, Es decir las Gpus de nvidia dan mejor resultado con cpus mas potentes por que mas depende del poder del Cpu que las graficas de AMD.

​@@css1ceman The CPU lacks sse4.1 and later instructions, those are needed to run newer games, there isn't really a workaround, I used it for a lot of photoshop work and the 2021 version needed these instructions to run, luckily I just replaced some .dll files and it ran just fine on the cpu, that is a one off as far as I know since adobe didn't really have a reason to require these instructions, many games like warzone or cyberpunk absolutely need these instructions and there is nothing you can do about it except buy a newer CPU, it is a 13 year old CPU after all, I used to use it a couple of year back, it's performance was impressive for what I paid for it, it is really sad it died.

I don't know if the problem you're experiencing is due to an error with missing CPU instructions or just bad performance, but I can tell you that that setup has no chance of running the game at a playable fps, I personally don't play fifa games, but my brother does and with a gtx 970 4gb and a ryzen 5 2600, he barely gets 60 fps at 1080p low settings in fifa 23, the game is really intensive, you could probably play it at 30 fps even if you played at 720p low and 50% res scale which is effectively 360p which I wouldn't consider playable, your GPU is severely underpowered. My old gpu which could barely run games like the witcher 3 at 1050p30 medium is almost 2 times as fast that glorified graphics adapter with a lot more vram than it needs that nvidia has the balls to call a gaming gpu to get prices up, it is a good option only if you need it for a low profile system, I don't believe you're running a 95W/125W phenom cpu inside a low profile case, if you are, there isn't anything I can tell you except wish you good luck... If you aren't on the other hand, a gtx 960 or 1050ti is a great option with that CPU, you could even get something more powerful like a 1070 ti or 1660 super if you're planning to upgrade in the future.

yes but FX 6xxx or 8xxx would be better and dont require SSE4 fix

well it's 2 times the cores, from a 3 core to a 6 core, so it's more or less double the performance, but your gpu matters more in video games
