As many have said, Nessun Dorma is not by Andrea Bocelli. It is an aria from the opera Turandot written by Giacomo Puccini. If you want to hear the definitive version, listen to Luciano Pavarotti singing it. It is amazingly powerful and beautiful.

You are wrong here,pav was great but the role of calaf was sung by better tenors than pav,pav made it popular but most probably the greatest tenor to sing and record turandot was franco corelli,i suggest to try listen to him,calaf is a tough role to sing better suited to a spinto or dramatic tenor,while pav was a lyric,singing one aria from the opera is not so difficult,singing the entire opera is a very different prospect.would be interested on your opion of corelli

Best version of this I've heard. You hear every word clearly. The other "masters" slur, mouth and run togeather the words. You can't even tell what they are singing except by the music and tone. In addition to getting the tone right he got the energy and emotion right. He will go far with a good teacher. He needs breath control and staying power. He didn't hold some notes long enough. Still, best version once heard yet.
