They fit exactly like two pieces of puzzle , Phoebe is all weird , funny and childish and Mike is matured and patient . People said that Phoebe and Joey should hv ended up together , but they didn't fit , both of them were exactly same and that works for friendship not for relationships . In a relationship opposites always attract and same happened with Phoebe and Mike .

I somewhat disagree in real life though someone who comes from a similar background as Mike and someone like Phoebe wouldn’t last long. In real life, initially both are okay with each other’s quirks during the honeymoon period but after the honeymoon period is gone having similarity becomes more important. I mean look at Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. Both had maturity gaps in relationship and their marriage did not last. This is just a show but in real life phoebe’s and mikes relationship won’t last.
