Oh, how I feel this song by Phil Collins. It was 1991, when I first met my true love. We were both 25 years old. She was a teacher, looking to return to school to get her Masters in Theater and I was working as an engineering tech. at a research center. After dating for three months, I let her slip through my hands, when she went away to graduate school. I knew she was the one, but I was taking my time and didn’t want to rush things. We lost contact and I thought about her ever since. In 2011 we found each other and ironically, we both were going through a divorce. We rekindled what we had in 1991 and we have not skipped a beat. We got married in 2017 and life has been grand, thanks Phil for the timeless music and the memories!

Without seeing at this post I would not know Phil Collins he has been rumoured to have died, his health and personal troubles … I remember I used to play Phil’s LD in the library whenever I got bored, that was the best entertainment I had at the campus. My parents were huge fans of Phil Collins back in the late 80s and had most of his albums on cassette tape. I was only around 6 to 7 years old at the time but always hearing Phil Collins whenever they played his songs on the radio had quite an impact on me. I've never forgotten his music. Phil Collins is such an incredibly talented musician and song writer. He has written the story of our youth for many of us who were teens in the 80's. It's a travesty that he is not in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. He's in as a member of Genesis, but absolutely should be there as a solo artist!
