Since graduating from the NC State College of Design in 1975, architect Phil Freelon has earned national renown. This spring, the African American Cultural Center at NC State will host an exhibit of his educational, cultural and community buildings. We caught up with him in one of those buildings, the Durham County (N.C.) Human Services Building.
