Even thou it was a upsetting scene. Was so glad that Phil came in to rescue his children. The first thing he saw was Ben laying on the floor in Callum's arms after being shot. He cares so much for his son has he was holding him as well. Has he really cares for Ben has he was first born and loves him so much

DRAMATIC SCENE

This scene had me on the edge of my seat, so worried for Ben. You can hear his breathing problems are getting worse and he is notably paler and his lips have a slight blue tinge to them. It was nice to see Phil actually show some concern for his Son here. He looks down and sees him almost dead on the floor. At first all he cared about was Louise but seeing his Son lifeless in Callum's arms, he finally showed some actual care for his son Phil "Ben? Ben? Don't leave me. Please son, don't leave me" Ben "Big Daddy Lion" - OMG, Phil is the Big Daddy Lion from his story to Lexi. The one who roared in the little girls face. But the little girl stood up to him and roared back. That is so beautifully symbolic. What was also kinda sweet is that Phil actually smiled at Ben when he called him Big Daddy Lion and there appeared to be genuine fear and love on his face. Phil "He's barely breathing" - Sonia then listens to his chest and pulls back with a really scared look on his face Phil "What is it?" Sonia "His lungs are collapsing" - Oh and Callum actually flinched at hearing that, turning his head away with such a scared and pained look on his face. Phil "Then fix it" Sonia "I'm not a doctor Phil I can't!" Phil "PLEASE! PLEASE!" Sonia "Erm....if I had a Biro and a knife" And Callum is still tenderly running his hand through Ben's hair, even with Phil right there. He doesn't even care. He might not even realise he is doing it. Next time we see Ben, he is really pale, lips blue, barely breathing and everything is so fucking tense. Sonia looks freaked out and very reluctant to do the procedure as both Phil and Callum watching her intently, knowing she is the only one who can save Ben and are desperately hoping she can. Phil "DO IT!" Sonia "If I get this wrong Phil" Phil "THEN GET IT RIGHT!" Callum "Stop putting pressure on her and let her think!" - Well done Callum. Sonia doesn't need to be screamed at, she needs calm. Well done standing up to Phil Everyone in the pub looks so scared as Ben can barely take a breath and Sonia cuts into his chest. Callum is still tenderly stroking Ben's hair and the rest of the pub all looked freaked and even Phil has to look away when Sonia cuts into Ben. But Callum watches it all, doesn't take his eyes off Ben the whole time. Sonia then uses the Biro to release some of the air that has collected around his lungs causing them to collapse and preventing him from breathing. As soon as the Air is removed you can hear Ben take an easier breath and his eyes actually open. What is also kinda cool is all through this whole thing, right from when Ben was shot, Whitney has been watching Callum intently and she can see and hear the true love and care he has for Ben in his voice and actions. She has seen him cradle Ben to him, the gentle strokes of his face and hair, the tender sound of his voice and the fear in it. She saw his pained reaction as Ben got worse and worse. The sound of the fear and pain in Callum's voice when Ben told Callum to tell Lexi he loved her and that Callum would have to finish the story. She can see that Callum really cares deeply for Ben, that it wasn't just a drunken fumble or a terrible mistake, there are actually feelings there between them and In a lot of ways, I think she kinda found a little closure. That look Callum gave Whitney as their eyes met, it was a look of acceptance I think. Whitney is still angry, of course she is, but I think some of the sting has been taken away. She loves Callum and wants him happy, and she can see that she isn't the one who can do that. Callum has basically outed himself during this whole hostage crises. The whole pub saw and heard him whilst he held and spoke to Ben. They could all hear the true love and affection between them that was more than just friends. I simply love Ben and Callum together so lets get Ben better again and lets get the two of them together so that they can date, and share kisses and hugs and tender moments, and flirty moments and cheeky moments, and domestic moments, and funny moments, and family moments with Lexi. Lets get them moved in together and get them married ASAP. Do it at Christmas....actually don't. Bad shit always happens at Christmas...so let them get married in the Spring.

They really need to add a character who is a doctor in the square for these types of reasons and I was surprised Phil actually cared about Ben being shot I thought he would’ve just cared for Louise and leave Ben since he was a rubbish dad to him in the past.

Touching scenes between.phil, Callum and Ben Hopefully this brings peace and closure and Phil and Ben together as father and son And let's hope ultimately this now delivers ballum I just hope Phil accepts Callum more than he ever accepted Paul and I hope we see a Christmas day wedding between Ben and Callum

Phil accepts him :) in yesterday's episode (the 9th) when they were in the hospital with Ben, a nurse told Callum that he had to leave the room because he wasn't family. Then Phil turned around and said, "He is family," which shook me to my core😂🙈

Mel had a bad habit of making bad decisions. Like when she decided to get revenge on Ray, instead of just turning him over the the police when she found out about the bigamy. And keeping that gun around where Hunter could get hold of it -- big mistake! Mel's life could have been pretty good if she had remarried Ian Beale as he wanted to. But I guess she thought he wasn't good enough for her.
