I opened QQ at a 1/3 for 30 got 7 callers I didn’t think it was to good for me but I ended up stacking 2 guys one was on a pure bluff with ace high the other had JJ and got sticky. Highest card on the table was k on the turn which is where the one guy decided to bluff but I didn’t believe him. Pot ended up around 1400. Fun hand.

I will say that is one thing about Poker I have always liked; the best players are almost always the most magnanimous and friendly folks. Not to say there isn't ... obvious stand outs that aren't.. but I can say that I've never approached any of them and they be stupidly offensive.

That is what I am thinking is going on here. Like Foxen, is a scary looking dude, but he seems like he is a super nice and humble guy. I would say for very good poker players, they don't need to be scummy because they are just good.

I firmly believe that Brad and Andrew are a material part of how poker is part of the culture by the way they vlog about it and how they connect with people. They started small, with those famous two tables, and now they have people like Gus Hansen and Phil Ivey playing in their meetup game. That's just huge. I was there for this one, I saw myself in the background a couple times. I got to play with Ivey and Andrew, I didn’t get to play Brad but I did get to hangout and talk with him for a little bit afterward. It was my first MUG and so happy I flew out to Vegas to make it happen. I highly recommend YOU make it happen if you get the chance! It was very very much worth it.

Tourneys are tough. I play only 2 a year or so. I’d like to play in a bit higher stakes to shrink the field down. I played a wsop in Sacramento last week. Took 50th out of 1656. I definitely missed a bet a couple times and should’ve played/raised a few more pots late. I said to myself I went card dead, but I think I still have to get better late in tournaments when blinds get bigger. Love your channel btw.

At the time, that Gus Hansen book was extremely helpful. It was almost like a vlog before they existed. His explanations of why he did what he did and what his options were was eye opening back then.

Hey Brad, been loving the videos for over a year now. As you're an ambassador for WPT Global, just want to let you know that the touted "deposit matching" is not true at all! In my estimation, actually false advertising. It is my fault for not reading the small print. Just trusted the advertising blind - so if you get 30% "matched" you'll be lucky. Just so you know. I have learnt my next lesson and will close/delete the app once funds are cleared. Good luck at the tables
