Impeccable timing! I teach elementary music, and this month is, of course, Irish Heritage Month, so I've been introducing my students to some of my favorite Irish pieces. This video gives me a great excuse to also introduce them to one of my long-time heroes (my dad played your vinyl recordings--Master and the Musician was a favorite--on our analog home stereo system when I was but a wee lad). May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be at your back ("most all the way")...

Why did he get someone to play the pipes? He used to play bagpipes at the end of a concert with his guitar... I wonder if he can do the same with another kind of pipe sound.
