I love that in an action-packed animated movie, they found a quiet character-developing scene to use as the clip. The entire scene on the top of the bank tower is fantastic.

YES! Spider Verse 3 will not get here fast enough! The first two Spider-Verse movies are absolute perfection and I cant wait to see how they end this trilogy! They really need to make Moore the permanent voice of Miles in any media like Conroy was for so long with Batman!!!

Really wish we'd gotten their version of the Hans Solo movie. It could have been a complete train wreck, but at least it would have been memorable and unique.

Yeah, Solo being a Lord & Miller movie was literally *all* of what attracted me to it. Absolutely nothing about the idea of a Han Solo prequel movie is interesting to me and apparently I'm not alone, based on the box office takings. On paper, I did not care about the movie, yet I was 100% planning to see it right up until they got rid of the one (two) thing(s) it had going for it.

In the interview, they refer to making a pilot from a 1978 Disney movie called The Cat From Outer Space, which was written by my father Ted Key. He created Hazel, a maid who appeared in magazine and newspaper cartoons that he drew for 50 years and became a prime time TV show starring Shirley Booth that now can be seen on AntennaTV. He also created the characters that became Peabody and Sherman.

It was. He wanted to be alone when he was thinking of ideas but didn't mind company when he was drawing, so I used to sit in his studio and watch him draw when I was young. I worked for him in my 20s, writing gags for the Hazel cartoons. I actually typed up the final draft of The Cat From Outer Space script that he submitted to Disney.@@s.pottedjackal

hmm, so you complain when the audience applaud a writer who put forward a bad joke but when directors say "most ambiciouse film ever attempted" you don't tell the audience not to applaud the two who helped give those animators 70 hour workweeks and a huge amount of burnout. I think these two are wonderfull artists but we need to keep reminding them they have to do better for their staff and this feels close to chearing for abusive work conditions to me.
