Why is it that for the most part hunters are quite happy to do what they do, and let vegetarians do as they choose, without any real issue, but vegetarians seem to feel it is their duty to push their way of life on everyone? Does not eating meat cause some malfunction in the brain, that requires justification by forcing your way of life on others? I have no problem with people choosing to eat vegetarian diets, even respect them, as long as they respect my choices.

The french have a style for that way of cooking & it is called confit'( pronounced con-feet)

When i was told by a vegan that i was condoning murder by eating meat, i simply said you’re murdering also. She made her point again about not eating meat. I informed her about all the vegetation that had its life cut short simply to let her live. She didn’t think about root crops being yanked from the ground killing them. Nor had she considered that while she ate a tomato, she was in fact eating that plants ovary. These facts hadn’t ever occurred to her. Afterwards, she didnt make any attempt to call us murderers. I wish she could have just kept her eyes on her own plate and not dictate what others put on theirs.

My wife is a vegetarian of 10 years. I eat meat almost every meal, and she prepares and cooks it for me. She just does not eat it. There are many different reasons why people don't eat meat. It's not always because they are against the killing and eating of animals.

Being merciful and sympathetic to all animals is an indication you've Spiritually Evolved. Justifying killing and maiming them is an indication that your said Evolution is meager or absent.//I walked around a lake, years ago, in which duck "hunting" had occurred earlier that day. I encountered, during my walk around the lake, at least a couple dozen dying, injured, ducks. One little guy was sitting in the mud, adjacent to the lake, and his face was essentially missing; both his eyes were gone ..his bill was gone..he was conscious...and just sitting there, trembling, and waiting for death to take him away. Other injured ducks, that I encountered, seeing me approach, waddled into the water, attempting to flee from me--but as they paddle away, one or both of their wings, crippled by shotgun pellets, dragged in the water, and they thusly swam in small circles, near the shore. In panic. While this was occurring I could hear the "hunters" in the distance, laughing, cracking beers, and so on, as they "put up" their shotguns for the day. It was disturbing and disgusting...this happened in the mid-eighties, and it bothers me to this day, each time I recall it. I'm sure in the thirty-some years since then millions of other ducks

Its science. The body needs certain things to keep it running within proper operable range. Which is hard to achieve without knowing the body. There is an amino acid called threonine is only found in concentrated amounts in only meats. Its an essential amino acid so the body needs to get it from outside source. If a vegetarian can eat enough of the higher concentrated threonine vegetables as well as achieve all other components then they can achieve perfect health like anyone else. Its much easier to satifsy the bodys needs through fewer meats then a large diverse range of vegetables. However thats just reducing vegetables to just amino acids. The antioxidants and fiber mostly found in veggies are also very needed to sustain all other aspects not just cell replication and protein synthesis

Biblically speaking, it’s ok to eat meat, providing the blood is poured out onto the ground. The eating of Meat with blood left in would be breaking Gods law. Genesis 9:4. Acts 15:29. Leviticus 17: 13,14. Leviticus 17:10,12. Acts 15:20. Providing we observe Gods laws regarding the sanctity of Blood which means the life of the animal, we are free to eat meat if we choose, many choose not to. That’s their choice, and I respect that choice, we are all free to choose, and according to Matthew 7:1 we should not judge. Interesting to listen to.

And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” (Genesis 1:29-30) -> God gave us GREEN PLANTS for food, not the animals. Furthermore the fifth commandment is: You shall not kill. God gave us no right to kill one of his living creatures besides plants. I don’t judge anyone for their diet, but the Bible is clear about this topic.

Genesis also says to go and get your bow and quiver and go into the high country and hunt and eat meat. I’m the New Testament God lowers a sheet before Peter and tells peter that all animals are food. Peter says that he’s never eaten anything unclean. God responds saying nothing He has made is unclean. Do not kill is referring to humans. Animals are not on the same level as humans. Man was given dominion over the animals to raise as livestock or to hunt as we see fit. Being good stewards of the land and resources of course.

This is how the human race has survived throughout history, not just from plants. Stop judging and trying to change people. Instead, do what you believe and don't let this lil shit stir up controversy and debate.

Why do people think that all vegetarians judge people that eat meat? Or try to change other people to be vegetarian? I don't care what other people eat and you shouldn't care what I eat. People survived from eating animals, yes, but animals were not always fed hormones, antibiotics and other unhealthy things that gets put into our meat. Vegetarians don't only eat plants, we eat rice, beans, and other grains also.

Love Phil and his whole family we enjoyed the show for years. I would like to say, if you follow the words of the one and only true living God (His words) The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Read peters vision in: Acts 10 he wasn't not talking about meat, read farther down, it was referring about the gentiles being grafted in. Also Noah's Ark The animals were lead in two by two and also 7 of every clean animal. There are so many reasons why people refrain from meat eating. Some eat all kinds of game ( not Biblical) Some eat just clean meats (Biblical) Some eat all kinds of fish (not Biblical) Some eat fish with fins and scales which does include Tuna (Biblical) the Bible specifically says not to eat any thing with webbed feet, read in Levitcus 11 the health food laws. This scripture is not for the Jews only because most Jews believe Jesus was just a prophet. It is for Israel, the one s that keep His commandments which also includes being born again, and Baptism by full immersion. John 14:23 (New Testament)If You love me Keep My Commandments. Revelation: 22:14 Blessed are they that do His Commandments that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter in the gates to the city. (New Testament) Please study the church history on when the Sabbath was changed from Sat. to Sun. start with Ruler Constantine. P.S The one very thing that put us in the mess we are in now is Eve eating something she was told by God not to. I hope this reaches all that searches for truth in Jesus. Jeremiah: 29:13 says When you seek me in prayer and worship you will find me available to you, if you seek me with all your heart and soul. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Love to all and hope to see you in the Kingdom . The Lord is coming soon!

I became a vegetarian because I was dehumanized most of my childhood by my loved ones and caregivers, treated like an animal, and explicitly instructed by my parents that I am no different than an animal. What people do to animals, they do to me. If it's okay to do something to an animal, then it's okay to do to me. People say animals can't feel pain, but I CAN! And I DO feel emotional pain, and I'm sentient. People can't tell the difference between chattel and sentient, self aware, abused, terrified children and that's why I'm veg. Something needs to change.

I'm a firm believer in eating what you kill because that's why God put those animals here for us. That's why I would rather shoot skeet for fun instead of duck hunting. Duck hunting is fun, and I never feel guilty about shooting a duck, but I really dislike the taste. I've had it prepared several ways and I just don't prefer it. If it was tasty, you better believe I would be out there in the blind with bells on! I don't know anyone who has an issue with vegetarians. It's all a matter of preference, but I don't go around advocating duck privilege just because I don't like the taste. Vegetarians need to read the Bible if they think eating animals is wrong.

Let me start by saying that I like Hunting AND I am a Vegetarian. I don't know why but I just can't stand the taste of any type of meat. That is the ONLY reason I don't eat it. As for hunting, I only go with my cousins and we bring back deer for processing so that they can stock the freezer with meat. In addition, we get the added benefit of mounting the deer's head on the wall if it is worthy of such a place. As for the video, I tried to watch it but only I only made it 1:26 into it before I had to stop it because someone is using an F-ing sheet metal shear in the background and I can't hear a word they are saying every time it cuts!

Genesis 9:5 shows the reason God allows eating animals is to shorten their sinful lives after the global flood, destroying most of the earths plant production for a time. The first diet given for long life and perfect health was every herb bearing seed, after sin entered. Genesis 1:29 It seems Phil likes to support his lifestyle choices, not on a biblical basis. Death was not part of GOD's plan for any living creature. Sin did that and killers and eaters of animals in an unbiblical manner are sill sinning. They just do not want to believe it. Because of their lust of and for flesh.

Its clear the original plan was for us to eat plants not meat. Pretty sure the promised new earth will be back to the original unfallen plan of plants being our food. Betther check it out. Also, somewhete i think ephesians jesus fed the folks manna or bread. They fussed and wanted qual. Jeyus provided it but was angered. Worth checking into deeper. The new earth we will not eat meat and the animals will not fear us nor will they eat us. Cow and bear will graze together liaon will lay down with lamb. God will end the bow and the spear. Its in the book. May want to check it out.
