What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his own soul. Thankfully Phil has never compromised himself, and continues to tell others the Good News. The Church of Christ is not viewed as politically correct by a long shot. Phil, all you have to do is continue to tell others. What they do about Jesus is now their informed decision.

@@mithall4198 Making money =/ greed. In fact, the Bible, and Jesus in specific tells us to wisely invest our money and to turn profits. The Robertson boys have never forsaken God for money as far as we know. They went so far as to threaten to quit their show when they tried to fire Phil for quoting the Bible. Other than that, they are very vocal about the good news and use their position in this world to spread that as far as they can. We can't judge them because we don't know, but there is zero indication that they've given up God for an idol of money.
@mithall41983 жыл бұрын
@@brahtrumpwonbigly7309 We can point out the hypocrisy of tv preachers without judging them. Are you not aware of the lavish lifestyles they live? They are fully immersed in this world. Phil & Si understand this and keep a modest life. Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

We all have lived a grand illusion of lies and deception. Pictures of Jesus Christ are nothing more than man's imagination and have NOTHING to do with His true appearance. Movies and pictures show Jesus Christ as a drug addicted, maniac with long hair that looks like a rat's nest full of dirt, sweat, and grease. Mankind was created from physical matter as free moral agents. This means that mankind has the capacity to change his ways. It also means that mankind can choose to do what ever he wants to do, despite what God says. IF you choose to believe what God says, then you will believe 1 Corinthians 11:14. Man's imagination and magical interpretation of God's Word has led to a world of religious confusion. Mankind hasn't changed since the days of Adam and Eve. They have chosen to keep one foot in God's future world and one foot in Satan's present world of lies and deception. The hardest thing for mankind to do is admit to the mistake. THE BIBLE WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE INTERPRETED BY MANKIND. THE BIBLE INTERPRETS ITSELF.. THE BIBLE IS MEANT TO RECREATE MANKIND INTO ONE BODY, ONE SPIRIT, ONE GOSPEL. Not a hundred different interpretations. Satan is the author of confusion, NOT GOD. God demands obedience to enter His Kingdom, Government, or Family. Self control is a fruit of the Spirit and few achieve it. For those who do achieve it and follow the example of Jesus Christ, they will become the Bride of Christ and assist Him in reducating those who remain deceived by the god of this world. Those deceived multitudes who realize that the Ten Commandments were meant for ALL races of people and that mankind MUST live in those Ten Commandments as a way of life, and obey those Ten Commandments will most likely be spared death and survive the great tribulation to become part of God's Spiritual Family during the thousand year millennium or for the billions that die during the great tribulation, they will be resurrected in the Last Great Day, or the great fall harvest of souls; better known as the Great White Throne Judgement. GOD'S LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDS. ALL of mankind that has ever lived will be resurrected into a perfect world utopia of love, peace, and harmony which can ONLY be achieved by cleaving to God's one true Government, Kingdom, or Family. These billions of souls or physical mortals will be given another opportunity at salvation God's loving way. For those who continue to rebel, they will be burned up in the lake of fire as though they never existed.

No matter what people think about this whole family, the fact is that they live for God and not scared to voice their opinions about that. This is how they are as a family. We may or may not like the way they talk comfortable with each other by interrupting each other, they still end up getting their opinions spoken. That's just the way this family is. It's a southern thing. My family is the same way. I guess I can't see why others may think it's a problem. I lived only a couple hrs give or take from them and I know Louisiana, Alabama & Ms families are like this. It's harmless. Over look that and listen to what the message they are trying to get across to everyone. I sure hope their show is able to get air time again. Luv to listen to & watch this family.

As far as gambling, by Jase's definition starting a small business is gambling because there is no gurantee for success. Life is a gamble since success is never guranteed, you just don't always wager money. He is basically correct, and he is also correct that gambling is not always sinful. The semantic issue is gambling seems to have 2 definitions, the more common being people blindly putting money on one of a few outcomes and hoping it comes true, while most don't look at working hard towards an end or researching an investment oppurtunity as gambling just because money is involved.

But Hairdressing is much much more than cutting and changing someone’s look. For women it’s very complex. Seeing their hairdresser is like a therapy session or like confessing to their priest ! It’s crazy I could write a book on what I’ve learned from the two decades I’ve spent with these ladies !! Also since this Covid thing, a lot felt we are essential lol! A lot of questions like “why aren’t you open yet, Doctors and dentist are open!? I’d reply, “ well you aren’t going to die if your hair isn’t done “! 🤣🤣

Free Thinker I see you on this podcast often. According to your messages I have to assume you do not believe in God. If you truly didn’t believe in God you would not waste your time on here. Christians don’t have blind obedience as you say. We have all been given free will and with free will we chose to believe in the Godhead, God the Father, God Jesus and God the Holly Spirit. I don’t know you but I care about you as a fellow human being and I do not want to see you go to the pit and live without the light of God for eternity. Why don’t you go to a quiet place and ask for the Holly Spirit to come live inside of you. If you truly want it to happen you will begin to repent. Find a Pastor or Minister that will baptize you with the Holly Spirit. When you are lowered into the water the old in you will be dead and when you are raised up from the water the new you will be borne a new person. I have been a Christian for my entire life but was not borne again until about 3 years ago. I still struggle and the “old man” in me still pops his head up but I can cool down and get back on track very quickly. Nobody can force you to become a Christian that’s why it’s called free will but I pray you will give it a try. Life is so much more fulfilling living as a born again Christian.
