Jesus brought me this song after my husband, six year old grandson and I flipped out of a canoe in the middle of a huge lake with no one around. As we hung on to the canoe and my grandson panicked, a boat with a pastor and his family came out of nowhere and pulled us onto their boat. There is a line in this song- who pulled me out of the water, it was You! God rescued us by sending the pastor’s boat and then God gave me this song to remind me of how He helped us! God cares for us so deeply! I love You Jesus!

your comment made me well up, for I nearly drowned in our swimming pool when I was about 7-8yrs old. A rubber ring slipped round my legs and kept flipping me over and under and the more I struggled trying to swim up, the more I would just flip over and under again .. All I remember is bubbles everywhere, I could see the surface of the water and the beautiful ball of sun beyond the surface, but I couldnt reach it, then the next thing I see is an out stretched hand reaching down into the beautiful blue water surrounded my bubbles, the hand pulled me up and out by my ankle... That hand was my mums hand, God love her, God sent her to rescue me... There is even an image on google of Jesus reaching down into the water with bubbles everywhere and that is exactly the hand I saw when I was drowning.... Its taken me a long time to realise how good and great God is. I thank Him from the bottom of my heart for saving me. Amen Lord be Praised Amen

It is a long and tragic story, but God is good, and he’s all about bringing life in greater things out of tragedies. I always ask myself. What is the gift in this? The gift is a treasure that’s found in Christ. We truly are pilgrims in this world. One of my great friends, and missionary coworkers once told me when me “the pains and tragedies of life are a parable to remind us that we’re not home yet. Christ is our treasurer, the reward. There will be much stuffing in this world. But as Christians We walk with an unusual joy to in our suffering, because of this truth. Even in the middle of our deepest pain, our savior and our redeemer, Jesus Christ was with us. He is with us now and he will be with us tomorrow. He’ll be with us forever.

Whenever I listen to this song, It takes me back to when I tasted and felt God's perfect definition for the first time, and felt sooooo good. It was the year 2021, and one of my friends invited me to join their Bible study I was an agnostic at that time, I know there is a God the Creator of all creation but I didn't know what are his characteristics and especially the definition of his love. Upon joining my friend's Bible study, I felt nothing it feels like a normal meeting however she keeps encouraging me to join her Bible study and I can't deny it because I have high respect when it comes to the church and especially her. Days past I become one of the topic leaders of our Bible study and to me, it is still like a meeting, with no special feeling no divine whatsoever. Then when I felt my heart ache so hard and I was desperate to get rid of it, I suffered for seconds, minutes then I shout to the ceiling while raising my hands to call to God for helping me rid of what I'd felt at that time, I beg so hard, I succumb my pride and bow down and I said such as accepting him as my savior, my healer, my redeemer and giving all I have to him, then all the sudden I cried and felt burning inside me and it was soo good. Days later I was so happy to share what I've experienced and I felt there's a burning inside me, and all of my friends from the Bible study group rejoices with me. Months pasts I finally learned who God is and his perfect definition of LOVE which is our Lord Jesus Christ, whenever I think of him, it makes me feel I am not worthy to be saved because I rejected him and didn't accept him despite all of that he still accepted me thus I always keep saying to my heart: "HE IS WORTHY TO BE WORSHIPED. THE SON OF GOD WILLING TO GIVE UP HIS LIFE TO SAVE US, HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED" Despite I accepted him and I know being a follower of Lord Jesus Christ is not easy it is hard because there are choices you need to pick and I still want him to be my priority. Right now I'm a College student and I faced a lot of problems like low grades, peer pressure, financial problems, and worst of all worldly pleasures. I do my very best to keep eye on and lean all these problems with Christ because I know in the end nothing is permanent except the journey I have with my Lord who has everything 'cause he is the mighty "I AM". Sorry for this long comment and forgive me If there's a wrong grammar. I just wanna share my experience and this song reminds me of my journey with Christ that's all be safe, pray and read his words and wish you all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ a beautiful day
