same, 18 years in the game, it reminded me of the days when KZbin first arrived, the algorithms weren't yet strong enough to silence or remove a video. It's been 10+ years since I've been able to watch a battle with breaks with actual, cultural notability. After the copy-rights came along, the DJ's had to become beat-makers, this was to the point where now, the new generation hardly knows of these cultural staples. Yes, the Olympics had the cash for the copyrights, but that's not what makes me excited, what makes me excited is that someone behind the scenes put forth the effort to acquire those rights for the event. That person is dope.
