I cant believe how many ppl want them play. Using Dan Cambell as the gold standard for decision making has to be near the top of stupid takes tho. The fact is this team hasnt had a bye since week 5 and if you watch theyre clearly slowing down on defense. Let them rest, stay healthy going into another possible 4 games against an absolute shark tank of a conference. This may be one of the most difficult roads to a super bowl ever. Why wouldnt you want to maximize your chances?

I think if nick left barkley in the Dallas game he would've gotten at least 40 more yards because the Dallas defense was worn down and it would've made this record easier to achieve but now it's 101 yards away and alot more risky because the giants have nothing to play for they could just be out to play spoiler ruin the eagles by intentionally injuring key players it sucks for saquon because he definitely earned the right but the eagles gotta focus on the playoffs now

Just look how emotional & happy Becton was after that game, and his teammates are just as excited for him to not only make the playoffs for the first time, but have a legit chance to win a superbowl. A portion of the teams morale is low, a portion of the fan base's morale is low because of the decision to sit him. My personal feeling as a long time eagles fan is that this was a "business decision" and does not make me confident going into the playoffs. I'm not watching Eagle football this playoffs because they made a decision they say is to make the Superbowl so i will only watch the Superbowl if they make it. This is not the Philadelphia grit i have known my entire life and cannot recall a more hurtful decision besides letting Howie Roseman go January 2015 or releasing Brian Dawkins in 2009. This decision will be a stain of those involved if we do not win the superbowl this season it will be unforgivable for the rest of my life. Shannon Sharpe just spoke on Terrel Davis in 1998 wanting the 2K mark and with the first seed and nothing to play for with two weeks left in the season they got it done and guess what? rode the momentum of winning the superbowl the year before and now a 2K rushing season to a second consecutive superbowl.
