I'm 74 and a life long Eagles fan. Siriani needs to stop leaving points on the field. They have one of the best kicker's in the NFL and when the get in the red zone, they need to put points on the board. Going for it on 4th down is bravado type move and bush league at best. Just take the points and if necessary late in the game go for it. One play at a time, one game at a time.

This was the best game of the season for the defense and if they play like this the rest of the season then they will be in great shape. And once the offense gets healthy then I expect a lot of explosive plays and high scoring just like it was in Brazil against the Packers. I’m glad that Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis finally played like the dynamic duo that they were drafted to be. Those two guys were amazing against the Saints and they will only get better. It was also nice seeing Nakobe Dean play better, Quinyon Mitchell breaking up passes, and Reed Blankenship intercepting passes. And let’s not forget about Zack Baun continuing to emerge as a leader on the defensive side of the ball. He will be needing a new contract soon if he keeps this up.

Some of the interceptions are not Hurts' fault. Like when the WR slips and falls, the WR doesn't run a Crisp route, a defender holds/interferes with the WR/TE/RB, the QB's arm gets hit, the pass gets deflected OFF the WR/TE/RB, and/or WR/TE/RB runs the WRONG route or breaks off the route either early or the wrong way, or the WR/TE/RB think they are only a "decoy" in the pattern but don't realize they are WIDE OPEN, or get lazy and don't run a crisp route and are WIDE OPEN, and don't expect the pass to be thrown to them and the ball gets thrown to them bounces off of them. BUT of course, Hurts does make some bad, boneheaded decisions too!! Like when a WR/TE/RB is double or triple covered, and he still tries to force it in there!!!! He throws the ball to the wrong shoulder (throws it to the inside shoulder where the defender is at, instead of the outside shoulder toward the sideline or no defender). His main thing is trying to FORCE it to a certain WR into heavy coverage!!

Fangio’s defense is beginning to show the potential for being dominate. That being said, no way is Belichick is taking over as HC in 2025 (because he’s a defensive coach). Nick “must” stop coaching on his emotions and master what the great coaches do; remove enough of their emotions from the game to be more strategic and tactical in understanding, recognizing and making the quick decisions in game that are best for the team! I think he’s improving, but at times he’s more of a fan on the sideline than a coach. If he doesn’t get that part of his coaching together there will be a new HC in Philly! Huff can only benefit us being used the way the Jets used him (strictly as a pass rusher). He’s slightly better against the run this year, but that’s not by much and “that’s” not saying a lot!

The turnovers were not all on Jalen. On the interception, looked like Smitty fell down and it went right over his head into Matthieu's hands. As for the fumble, he got flushed out of the pocket then got blindsided while he was trying to find someone open. Sucked but it can happen to almost any QB. I don't think they were anything to panic about long term. Its not like he's making one bonehead mistake after the other.

Before the fumble he was trying to hold the ball and make something happen, its like he doesn't like the call and doesnt go through his reads.
