Philadelphia's 30th Street Station Walkthrough 4K

✨Enjoy seeing the hub of Philadelphia's rail transportation. Could you give it a 👍👍 ?
I'd appreciate it.
I've included facts during the video while showing this beautifully designed building. Amtrak is strict of allowing only ticketed passengers down to the train area, so I was limited to filming local trains.
I'll follow up finding them at stations in future.
The CSX facility was quiet but I did get some footage and beings I was on the waterfront, I got the ship you can't miss seeing if you are down there; USS United States.

I always feel I'm looking at the Titanic when I see this, so I've enclosed a comparison of the 2 ships because obviously I'm not the only person to do so. I do wish the owners would start "refurbishment" soon for every time I see it, it is so more deteriorated. Sad.

Many thanks. Was about 100 degrees filming this but it brought back good memories. Those large windows are actually walkways and when people worked in more of that building, you would see them crossing to get to the other side. If was a fun & functional building for Conrail workers before they were moved into center city. Look forward to seeing Riggs (& bunnies Lol) roaming soon!

Thank you SO MUCH for showing the area devoted to septa tix & where to access the regional rail trains. No one else shows that … some people watch these videos to prepare for a 1st time train trip…. most train station tour videos are either 15 minutes of standing at the tracks watching trains pass, or staring up at the ceiling, 90’ above. This was a very informative video - both on showcasing the building AND giving practical insight.

We enjoyed the train station walk though and seeing the CSX trains. Haven't been to Philadelphia yet, but when we do it will be coming via Amtrak. Not a big fan of big city driving. Thanks for the preview!
