Hello There :) I Think the error in the video is in 9:01 where you play G# Major Block instead of G# Minor Block This is only my try to spot the error
@PhilBestMusic3 жыл бұрын
You are the winner! Congratulations! I would have called it A flat but G sharp major will do just fine. It was the major-minor thing that I was interested in. So... Would you like the 15 steps? You can go to my website PhilBestMusic.com and send me a message and I will email it to you!

........... Anyway, Phil, thank you so much for everything you do to make us better musicians and humans! 🎹🙌 edit: Later I realized that maybe it is not fair for my part to participate in the contest because I'm a professional classical trained pianist, so Phil, please skip me and continue the contest... I'm gonna delete my contest answer from above, sorry.
@PhilBestMusic3 жыл бұрын
I didn't see your answer sorry! Sometimes KZbin does some odd things! But it was very gallant of you to withdraw based on your pro level! I hope the winner may get some benefit. He's certainly asked me a lot of questions!

@@PhilBestMusic Don't have to feel sorry Phil, I've willingly deleted the first line of my comment from above that contained the correct answer to not influence the contest and had inserted dots instead but my English was a bit convoluted in explaining what I did. I also would like to take the opportunity to let you know that because of YOU I gave a second chance to Pianoteq and I'm so happy now especially after investing in very good monitor speakers. Thank you again for all the knowledge and passion you share on this channel! I will certainly be here on every of your new videos. /Gabriel 🙏

14:04 Aha! Melody as fluid mirage masking the stable harmonic blocks, stealing our attention.

Sounds familiar, right?!

@@PhilBestMusic happy b'day in many keys? Yes. Without training to ignore that familiar contour ('chune'), it's the main thing we pay attention to. Mostly my recognition of the 24 blocks hits home when I recognise I've played the wrong block.
