Im very impressed of Pekka´s music awareness, and i´m looking forward to the konsert. I know Ale very well and I feel that you together can create nice memories. With the Phils!

I found this video very intreresting and welcome. We know for example about Beethoven by his friends and other authors that notes in paper were just one variation or version of work which just happened to be the one that was published. Beethoven more or less improvised his own works when playing so I could assume that Vivaldi was no different. Bach even took that to another level to use same themes in different works and in different light. I think we are limiting ourselves when we stuck in certain forms of how to play certain works - and even when most of those viewpoints are creations of just by some author, who happened to have too much character to push those ideas to us in late 19th century and early 20th century. When I was teenager, I really loved Glenn Gould, and still love him as an artist because in piano music there is Gould and there is "rest" and all in group "rest" sound more or less the same. How boring.

I missed the concert, but I'm sure Pekka succeded. His touch creates a whole new world in just few notes! Is the concert recorded, is it somehow possible to listen this unique work?
