Thanks for the vid! You motivated me to put a pool noodle around the rim of a small, fine mesh, landing net. Walmart calls it a "kid caster youth aluminum fishing net" (~$6.50). It floats flat and just dump your pump into it. The sand and mud hold it in place while it sifts through. You can also leave the bait in the net to collect it.

This thing is clutch! Makes sifting them out a breeze. Just be sure to rinse the galvanized mesh off to prolong it's life

Do you have issues with leaks at the joints reducing buoyancy?

I have not had issues so far but using a PVC glue helps. I do need to do an updated video with a new version Jeremy created

I was thinking the same thing. I'd glue it to add buoyancy. You're not gonna break ovc, but the pool noodles can get water logged.

How come one side is more then the other
