Bruce Hornsby is a phenomenal pianist! He takes you on a journey with every song. Each song is a story and the instrumentals are catchy. You will really enjoy his work! Try "Look Out Any Window" my personal favorite or "Mandolin Rain", "Every Little Kiss" and "The Way It Is". Each tells a thought provoking story. Enjoy your journey! 😊

Yes Phil, you must check out The Way It Is, you may recognize a famous rapper's song in there.

When you say Bruce wasn’t all that popular in the 80s, you miss the fact that Bruce wrote many songs that politicians didn’t like and he got the Dixie Chicks treatment before there were Dixie Chicks! Did you know he was picked by the Grateful Dead’s touring group? He refuses to put his name on anything that belongs to the Dead and they don’t advertise him on piano so if you don’t know who he is, you would assume he’s just another old guy. Bruce had enough of the crap and worked more on writing songs for other artists. Treat yourself to Bruce and Bonnie Raitt live “I can’t make you love me.” He played on her original album and no one knew it until he popped up on the stage. No doubt, a behemoth of talent from the 80s til today.
