Defense counsel is playing fast and loose with its various “expert” witnesses in a desperate attempt to prop up the “insanity” defense - lots of sandbagging going on. The prosecutor is doing an excellent job raising valid objections. IMO the judge sees through the defense counsel’s bull$hit .

The prosecutor comes across as testy and whiny. I understand her points about the late discovery notices, and it's valid. But it's never good to let your emotions show like this or let the other side know they're getting to you.

Why is the commonwealth so concerned about bringing up the June 14 incident?? Wouldn't she want that to come up and show that the defendant has a pattern??

+naudia8584 My thinking is because it can be seen both ways.Yes, it shows he has anger issues toward women potentially. But the defense can, on the other hand, say, "Look! See?! He IS mentally ill and this proves it!" So to me it seems this is something that could potentially hurt OR help either side depending on what the jury believes. It's one of those things neither side may want to take a chance on.
