You need to get rid of the pain, a surgery is not possible because that would mean Pantera had to be put on hold for over a year. He chose to use painkillers and he climbed the ladder to heroin. Phil is a kickass dude. He enjoys talking. So what. And he's an interesting dude to hear stories and stuff from. According to the research the killer never even mentioned Dime, he only mentioned Pantera. It could be anyone; Vince, Phil, Rex... Even if Pantera never broke up, someone probably got killed.
