It’s a piece popularized here in the Philippines by Sheryn Regis when she became a grand finalist and placed runner up in local singing competition here in the Philippines. I personally think she should have won and she sang this song as amazing decades ago. Happy to see her featured on the Wish Bus. She’s still amazing and beautiful. She joined STAR IN A MILLION IN 2004. she never lost. when she entered in top 10, she dominated every single week for 8 weeks, every week she ranked #1. Judges were allured at her. On the grand finals, she competed against marinel santos and erik santos. Marinel placed 3rd. She finished 2nd. And erik santos won. She was robbed. The entire philippines knew who really won. Unfortunately she cried that night when erik santos was announced winner, bec the expectation from her to win was really high. It is for her to lose. Nonetheless, we still love her crystal voice of asia. By the way she sang that song in the grand finals and that song causes her to lose huhu. I appreciate your being proud of our singers po but we'd have to be lying if we say most of them are world class, definitely not true. We have to accept the imperfections so we know that there's still something to work on, to further improve. I think it feels more dignified for us if we stay honest and impartial with our observations. I agree, though, there are A LOT of amazing singers in our country despite not having any sort of vocal coaching and stuff. Wag kayong magalit, maraming magagaling sa Pilipinas.
