"Nah we aint runnin that" 😂😂 Damn i loved him as a QB. Wish putz Spanos wouldve got him a ring

Rivers, imo, will go down as one of the most underrated QBs to play the game. His passion for the game was off the charts. Unfortunately they could never put a full team back around him after 06. The teams were usually top 5 pick worthy but Phil would gut them to a .500 record. If he landed in Pittsburgh like some of the predraft talk was saying then I think he's a multiple SB winner and 1st ballot HoF.

Rivers in that draft I said he's going to be the better QB over Eli. Career wise yes but Phil was just unlucky..It is what it is❤

He was the best qb in that class just got stuck in a poverty franchise. Drew Brees got lucky has hell escaping

@@jacobwatson1818 yea because his tea was losing and hos oline wasn't blocking. If you watch him you realize most of his tds is him forcing something at the end of the game. His teams were almost never good, always playing from behind

@@johnpaulstrobel2547 That's not what happened at all. Philip wanted to play another season for them but the Colts didn't want to pay him $25 mil. Rivers didn't want to play for any other team so he retired.

Phil is one of the few people I have unlimited bias toward. He's just a complete pro and awesome dude. He was a great. I hope he doesn't get dissed for the HOF, but he'll lose no respect if he doesn't make it.

@@danielcubillasvaldez1784 Unfortunately being a QB in the NFL is heavily dependent on the franchise you land in. Look at the history of Chargers ownership and GM decisions, previous head coaches, etc. and you'll see why this team couldn't get anywhere even with a group of HOFers
