Great little podcast. Thanks for making and posting it. Never knew much about miniatures but a wonderful art form! The skill it took to create these is amazing.

thank you for doing an episode on Miniatures. I love miniatures and was in heaven looking at them in the miniature room at the V & A museum.

Jan van Eyke also produced miniature artwork that was beautiful. Many people forget this and recognize him for larger masterpieces. Thanks for sharing these wonderful productions.

I love portrait miniatures and fortunately these were being produced well into the 19thc and can be collected for reasonable prices. As a dealer I have been lucky enough to have found a few.

Thank you for sharing your insights. I have to ask about the portrait on the wall. It’s so familiar, but my memory is failing to properly identify it.

Oliver and his son couldn't touch Hilliard! Hilliard was so much more imaginative and had such a finer hand with watercolor!

the strange repetition of an entire segment of this in almost identical wording is very strange.
