Oh man. I miss dancing like this. Of course at my age of 83 I couldn't even do the two step. Brings back good memories. But love this era cause I can see so much on you tube. Fantastic time to live. Just bloom in the era you are in.
@kenzeesullivan83847 жыл бұрын
Marie McCowan Wow 83! You've seen so much! I love listening to ppl from your era telling stories from back in the day. If my dad were alive he would have turned 100 in 2019, but sadly he died 5 years ago. I'm in my 30s so he had me WAY older than most ppl have children. I learned so much from him. I hope you live so many more years so you can tell your stories to younger ppl. It's sad that ppl's from your generation are dying off. It saddens me so much that's why I hope you stick around. As far as not being able to dance like this, I dot know what kind of health you're in but maybe start off slow. Don't stop moving though bc you know the saying, a body in motion stays in motion but a body at rest... Well you know the rest. Good luck!

@@ronaldsteed300 You're missing the point. It's not about where it started. It's the fact that this swing music, and nobody denies its origins, is being widely played in Europe but not in America. The form in which it's now developed into is rather different from the past - comparatively small groups with a lot of electronics instead of the big big swing bands that used to dominate Swing music, hence the term Electro-Swing that's often used to describe it.

SometimesOffensive SometimesNot What? Well considering I'm underweight, I'd say I'm not and that you're being obnoxiously assumptive/pretentious. I was simply mocking the idea that life was so much better in the 20's when disease was far more common, cars were really only available to those with wealth, the most advanced everyday technology was radio, and the Great Depression was on its way.
