I love this channel. Always so informative! As a former high-priced federal court trial lawyer in San Francisco, California I know that whenever you want something done RIGHT you retain an EXPERT. That's why I will be using JR at JRC for my visa needs. I am a military Veteran so I'll be seeking the SRRV visa.

great video - unfortunately, the non tourist visa options are limited in The Philippines - either marriage (13A) or SRRV are all that are available as far as I'm aware. If you are over 50, non military and no pension, as I am, you are required to give the government agency around 1 mill PHP. This is refundable if you forfeit the visa (either death or leave the country), therefore, your 1 mill PHP is essentially held as a fee. Buying a condo to use the money is something many, including myself are not interested in. If there was a better retirement visa, I would be first in the queue. Until then , it's a tourist visa for me.

Correct, there are a couple other "specialized" visas that most would not be interested in also, Missionary being one, student visa is another.

If the Philippines wants more tourists they should do like Mexico 180 days okay 😁👍 Vietnam 25 USD for 90 days 💯👍😉

for the outbound if on tourist visa, i believe it is a requirement for every country and some countries even make it harder by asking for your financial details inorder to determine whether you are likely to leave after your visa expires.

I committed myself to a Year Stay in the Philippines... Eleven Months to go... :) I'm leaning towards getting my SRRV in a few months... I haven't run into any "Red Flags"... My 1st Tourist Visa Renewal was very easy... In a couple of weeks, it will be time for my 2nd Extension... With the ACR Card.

Hi Rod. As with other commenters, please try to stop your language options. Tonight you came out in German. I had to search again to turn you into an American. Frohlische Weinaschten. Ich bin ein Binliner. Expecting Swahili on your next video.

Hi Rod, just out of curiosity, after getting an ACR card, can I then obtain a ban account and a license? Or is there still a 6 month wait?
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 12 күн бұрын
You can with an ACR card but different banks have different criteria. It always helps to have a Filipino recommend you as it is often who you know that counts here.

I am looking forward to the property video - I want to buy a lot in the province for my family, but I hear many horror stories about non complying titles, tax declarations, mysterious relatives surfacing at the last minute - I need help !

It is quite risky. I even know of large subdivision developers who cannot finish their development because someone protested they owned part of the land. Eventually, a payoff will usually solve the issue.

I plan to come to the Philippines and stay for 6 weeks. I will have a return ticket that will be dated 6 weeks from my entry date. My plan is to get a 30 day extension before the initial entry visa expires. Will I have any problems with the airline or immigration about my ticket being more than 1 month from the date of entry ? TIA
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 9 күн бұрын
It depends and no guarantees. Philippine Airlines states within 30 days of arrival but not sure if they are strict about that. Check your airline website info. I have not had PH immigration check my ticket when arriving but they could. Others have told me they had no problems with the later ongoing ticket.

I am booked on Philippines Airlines, to.arrive in Manila ,and then fly on to Cebu, on the 7th January 2025. I fly in from Malaysia, on an Australian Passport. I do not currently have a flight booked to get out from the Philippines. I was hoping to get a visa extension, to give me a possible 6 month stay in the Philippines. This is the first time ever visiting the Philippines. Am I going to have trouble because I have no forwarding flight. If I get a forwarding flight, how do I get an extension of visa when I will need a forwarding flight the next time I enter the Philippines. Seems like a circular. Never ending trip.
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 7 күн бұрын
There is a site or 2 that offers cheap "ongoing" flight tickets or you buy your own cheap flight and do not leave the country actually. Do not use the ongoing ticket. You should be able to find one for about $50 USD.

I know that many people say say that Philippines immigration is not very efficient "compared to what we are used to in our home country". But how many of us really know how long and efficient immigration processes are in our home country?

does the QR code contain personal medical information ? does QR code contain personal private information about my money / bank / income ? if i accept a qr code tattoo stamp on my forehead ...can i ever get it removed ? what happens if ONE person refuses to accept the QR code ?......what happens if 10 people refuse it ?....how about if i try enter the philippines and i do not have a smart phone or a computer email ? .....what if i just have a pocket full of CA$H and i just wanna enter the country and spend CA$H ?...

The best solution is not to have a "smart phone" I think as some do and you would have to process everything the old fashion way with paper.

They really want you to take the mark. If you don’t want they will just take their sweet time giving you the runaround! I go through it all the time here, I’ve been here for a while so I expect it. It’s not only with gov stuff, banks want it, medical, almost every service here is moving to the digital realm. I am with you about trying to avoid it but just expect delays in getting stuff done….
