Philippines Quest: Will We Find Home Sweet Home or Wave Goodbye? 🇵🇭

Hey guys, it's your favorite globetrotting couple back at it again! This time, we're on a super exciting mission: finding our perfect home base in the Philippines for the next few months. But guess what? Siargao, the usual surfer's paradise, is taking a nap right now, so we're venturing off the beaten path to a place called San Juan, La Union. We've heard whispers of amazing waves and epic sunsets, but there's one tiny problem: barely anyone's heard of it! (Seriously, Google was like, "Nope, never heard of her.")
So, with hearts full of sunshine and suitcases overflowing with sunscreen and good vibes, we hopped on a bus from Manila, feeling like real-life treasure hunters. We scoured Facebook groups, chased down rental leads, and even checked out every "For Rent" sign we saw hanging from a coconut tree. But things weren't exactly smooth sailing. Most places were either party hostels with bunk beds (not exactly our jam) or basic rooms with not much more than a bed and a bathroom. We just wanted a comfy, private spot to call our own, you know?
Just when we were about to throw in the towel and build a sandcastle instead, BAM! We stumbled upon it - the PERFECT place! It's got everything we dreamed of: cozy vibes, ocean views that'll knock your flip-flops off, and enough peace and quiet to hear the waves whispering secrets. We're over the moon (and maybe a little sunburn) to finally have our home away from home.

You should be able to unscrew the drain grate to the left (use a hammer and screwdriver if tight) and just put the hose down the drain .

you won't stay here once you met our ugly storms 😂😂😂😂storms, typhoons at least twice a month plus one super typhoon every year...my advice as a good pilipino is: live somewhere else i heard Thailand is 😃 Great
