IMPORTANT RE: KAPIHAN I am shocked by the news that came out just a few days after I visited. My heart really goes out to the victims. First I need to reiterate that I am NOT a supporter of them, I am NOT promoting them, as with every video I just DOCUMENT what I see. I am in NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH KAPIHAN. I am just someone who happened to come across that place, expecting something else. Before I visited (locals in the town suggested I go) I literally thought the place was something to do with coffee. A tourist attraction. On Google Maps, it is called "Kapihan Nature and Adventure Park". So I was surprised when I saw a community, recording studio, radio station etc. It was in no way what I expected. I was there for 2-3 hours. And I have learnt this in life: you never know what is happening behind closed doors unless you are there for much longer. As I expressed in the video, at the entrance, I had no idea what was going on, or what I'd got myself into. But once I spoke with the people there for a while, I felt more at ease. It is a good lesson for life - appearances are not always what they seem. I had no idea. And that's why you will see me here interacting with them like any other humans. I had no idea that something else was going on under the surface. Once again, my heart goes out to the victims. I will leave the video intact for now. I could delete that section to protect myself - but I think it is better that there is some video from inside, rather than nothing.

Correction pls. Kumander, Socorro is one of the municipality and still part of Siargao, however the island isn't called Socorro island it is Bucas Grande. Nowhere in the Phils map you will find Socorro Is.

OH MY GOSH!!!! Another discovery c/o Kumander Daot the explorer!!!! That KAPIHAN village is stunningly beautiful and inviting!!!! rarely showcased in travel vlogs.
